dark stalker and night silence not stacking
so I noticed while going around on my vampire DK my usual sneak speed was much slower than it is on the live build, I deduced it was because my vamp passive and my armor set were no longer stacking
just checking to see if this is a bug or an intended change?

psxfloh✭✭✭✭I always wondered why they ever stacked..something that looked like a bad implementation all along:
"sneak penalty => movement speed minus x, so a buff that 'removes' the penalty must add x to the character's movement speed" - and if someone wears 2 sets + has the vampire passive, three times x is added..

Kram8ion✭✭✭✭✭It should imo stack because your gimping yourself into a vamp for dark stalker and also using a complete set too that's a lot just for speed buffs it's not op damage or healing

Personally I've only ever had dark stalker for speed buff alone coz it's was too wasteful to stack with a whole set, I think it would cause problems with servers in populated areas which happens with speed pot stacking
only the explanation just doesn't fit.. how can a "buff" that removes a "debuff" stack, unless you have more than one "debuff" and every "buff" removes only one of the stacked "debuffs"..!?
for the same reason you could say that buffs like major brutality should stack.. if you "gimp" yourself using a whole dreugh king slayer set, the 5pc bonus should stack onto your buff from momentum/rally !? hmm, no..0 -

see, I like this point of view... There's a lot being sacrificed just to build a speed build, and I think it promotes diversity. Instead back to just stacking DPS, etc. meta of the week.
I like playing with some off/utility builds... you'll never wreck anyone/anything, but they can be fun.1 -
