Yep, it's another "I wish to have"-thread, but I feel free to list some points some forum members and I'd like to see in this MMORPG :smile:


Pets & Mounts
  • Add horker-baby (girlfriend's heartfelt wish)
  • Possibility to tame pets (or mounts)
  • Possibility to change the look of mounts (enable/disable harness, bags, ...)
  • Add Netch-mount
  • Training of mounts should be account-wide

Housing
  • Add usable wracks for weapon and gear
  • Add usable chests with an inventory space of 20-30
  • Add NPC's for our homestead - these NPC's should also be editable (e.g. walking route or reading a book)
  • Possibility to link two or more furnitures - especially if we have to move a group of it (e.g. table with chairs)
  • Sleeping in beds
  • Furniture wishes: furnitures for pets (e.g dog house, pet pole, chimney, hay, toilets)
  • Stolen items should also be classified as furnitures
  • Players, which got "Mara's Swore" (in other words: are married), should have full access in the other housing-editor or have the possibility to place items from their inventory

Gears & Weapons
  • Add two-set-stat for staff and bow instead of one-set-stat
  • Add dye for weapons

Gameplay
  • Reorganize toons and guilds
  • Optimze bag/bank/guild bank organisation
  • Optimze searching by guild vendors *OR*
  • Change the current trading system to a trade house for everyone
  • Increase the number for ignored members
  • Add assistants for raids
  • Add seperate quick slot bar for siege items
  • Fix group finder and modify it (e.g. raid finder)

Skills
  • Add a barden-skill-line

Crafting
  • Add jewelry crafting
  • Learn to read and write recipes and able to share with another or toons
  • Ingredients should be sortable alphabetically
  • Furnitures should also be destroyable and regain material
  • Add transmog-like-option for player's known style (like imperial-convert for IE-players) - e.g. a player, who knows the hole DB-style can change the look of a gear/weapon on it's bench (costs: one style material)

Miscellaneous
  • Integral game development, (where the game designers/company producing the content care more about the integrity of their game content /acheivements / gameplay then they do making the quick dollar)
  • An ounce of difficulty in character progression/advancement,
  • Diversity, and creativity relating to character builds/gear


So, these are our points - or let's say our thoughts, we'd like to have in ESO.
I dont't know which points are easy to implement or still impossible to add in the gameplay.

    An increased number for my ignore list. 100 is not enough. I am always having to take out people to put the new dodo heads in.

    Jewelry crafting.

    Fixed group finder.

    A netch mount. Don't care how it would work, I just want one.

    A transmog system. I want the unique look back. I am tired of looking like every other DPS/Healer/Tank who wears the same stuff.

    The ability to reorganize my toons on the log in screen.

    The ability to reorganize my guilds in the guild screen.

    Better bank organization.

    Better organization in general of the inventory. (would be nice if I could rearrange my stuff in terms of what they are. EX. all weapons organised by type of weapon.)

    Better organization and search criteria for guild vendors. I want to be able to type an item into the trader and search for it only.

    This is already in the game as far as the harnesses and bags to enable or disable them. It's in the settings. I don't quite remember where it is, but I know it's there. I have one of my toons set up like that on her mount.

    Thinks are in fact a thing I'd very much love to have in ESO. Every time I see yet another sorc spaming hardcasted frags throuhout the entire vet dungeon, or a stam dd with 12k health using jesus beam, or a tank with 17k health, I can't help but wonder where's some people's (ability to) THINK :p I must admit some of the posts on these forums also make me wonder about that(it is not about you in any way OP, I just couldn't resist lol).

    I think a mandatory tutorial of some kind before entering a (vet) dungeon would go a long way to help people with their think thing. It'd also go a great way towards the whole learning curve thing we're missing.

    But what is easier?
    Tell players to make deeper thoughts of their gameplay or "nerf" the game to make it "easier" for everyone?

    I would like the transmog or whatever it is. I like the current trading system since I think one of the greatest things ever is this idea of joining a guild specializing in trade. That's something new and different I haven't seen in a game before. I still think EQ had a interesting thought of being able to turn your character into a shop but then your character had to remain on all the time. But it was unique. With ESO, I do wish I could search a bit easier. I absolutely hate the idea of an auction house being supported by the game. I'd rather it come from the current system though if a guild because Tamriel's auction house, no one would ever be able to ouster them. Perhaps a nice alternative would be a way to search all traders in the current town simulating running from one to the other searching instead of actually having to do that.

    Furniture deconstruction is surprisingly absent. One thing I wish is my character could learn to read and write. My thinking is why can't he simply write down a recipe to either sell or give to an alt. Since I play more than one character, I would like to just learn recipes on whatever character I'm playing at the time without the character switch retrieve from banker routine. More annoying if its already known.

    Also, bards. I'd like to see that as a skill line. I don't see an entire class there but I'd like to see something like a guild skill line. The others are getting a bit old. But I guess until the current shakeup happening is over, we'll have to wait on anything new being added that could introduce some game breaking passive.

    1. For alchemy ingredients to appear alphabetically when you make a potion
    2. Usable weapon racks for houses
    3. Usable chests for houses, with 20-30 slots for storage
    4. For mount training to be account-wide instead of limited to each character

    1. More TES gameplay. Less DAOC gameplay. Like the justice/stealing system.
      For example: A true multiplayer enhancement of the justice system. So we have the "blue" guys and we have the "red" guys. If you turn dark red by doing too much evil stuff, you get flagged and the blue guys can arrest you. If you resist, they can kill (AKA auto-duel) you.
    2. More timeline information. When I enter a zone, show me where it is located in terms of overall story arch. When I enter Orsimar DLC, it seems slear that this is after the main story. Same goes for Goldcoast, which makes references to things
      happened during cold harbor iirc. More meta info about the world would be really nice.
    3. Sperate the realms via a new travel mechanic that gives a feeling of "changing bodies" so it is clearly understand that we are now experiencing another time-line. Maybe show an animation how we leave our body and enter it again in the other realm. Add consistency to the narrative and the whole reasoning and make it clearly visible. This has become even more interesting with the open 1T world.
    4. Unlockables not being tied to skillpoints only, but actually a direct reward from the quest. In TES you often received the rewards in context for what you did. The mages guild really gave you new casting options by fiddling around with spells. The greybeards taught you to shout. Going to a word-wall gave you a new spell. In ESO this has been done only with Vampires and Werewolves. Those two story lines are absolutely TES feel. Would be cool if we can get more of that, where you really have the unlock through the quest line and not through generic skill spoint spending.
    5. The blades! Next DLC maybe? Could make very intersting gameplay options, since the Emperor is everchanging in PvP. This guild could actually be strongly connected to the PvP of the game.
    6. Where the Blades are, Dragons cannot be far! Bring back Paarthurnax, Numinex, Alduin. Dragons fought and were imprisoned in the Dragon Wars. You have so much freedom in the 2nd era to design between the origins and Skyrim. So many possibilities!
    7. More TES like choices. Without necessarily creating multiple quest paths. Just little things that make an impact. Let me exterminate the Dark Brotherhood, if I I want to. Give us options that make an impact.

    I'm sure the things I would like to see have already been mentioned but here goes.

    Guild Stuff

    1. I would like a way to look up where guilds traders are instead of having to search each area by clicking on the map and hovering over the icons. Maybe a message board in the main cities or a guild finder in the menu.

    2. A search feature for items by name in the guild store.

    3. I know this will never happen or probably not feasible, but it would be awesome when you list an item it would give you the average sold price across all guilds as your starting price.

    Dungeon Finder

    Besides being fixed:)

    1. It would be nice that champions not be paired with Lvl 49 or below.

    2. If a person queues for a dungeon and isn't ready when the group is being formed, they get a time penalty or make the time longer than 45 secs. I don't know, it's just annoying to have to hit the ready button 3 or 4 times before the group is actually formed because someone went off to use the bathroom or get something to eat because they've been waiting a long time for a group.

    Vanity

    Why do some of the dye colors look exactly the same or not the same color on the armor as in the color palate?

    Common sense,

    The rest of it, is too specific to ask for these days.. Lets work on getting the fundamentals right first

    2h has been king since forever... remember the WB,WB,WB!?!? The masses don't want to talk about it because they enjoy abusing it.

    1. ESO isn't PVP only
    2. For me, it's not a problem, that a 2H doesn't get a 2-set-stat - they also can change the 1h-shield and dw into a 1-set-stat ;)
