We're not getting that because they're not aware of the issue. They thought they fixed it, everyone went home for the weekend, and they don't have anything in place to keep on top of whether there are ongoing problems.
No, they're not. If they were there would have been a post somewhere saying that they knew about it and they were monitoring it. Last time this happened they didn't know that the problems weren't resolved until they came back to work on Monday. We're not getting that because they're not aware of the issue. They are very aware of this issue. This isnt the first time. It happens to a select few of us every time there is a DDOS attack. Its all part of what ever they have set up to lessen the server load during these attacks. We can still log into PTS, EU and even to NA if we use a VPN. Those of us who have been having this happen to us over the last few months know this is being done for a reason, and since its only a select few of the player base it doenst get enough attention drawn to it to make them stop.

Yes they are. Their lack of posting has nothing to do with their awareness or lack of. This is all over social media, the idea they dont know about this is silly, and isnt helping with whats really going on and getting it fixed.

You do realize that by saying they don't know this is happening I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt right? That it's much much much worse if they do know it's happening and they haven't acknowledged it?
If they don't know about these ongoing issues then ZOS comes across looking incompetent.
If they do know about these ongoing issues and just refuse to even acknowledge that there are any problems then ZOS still comes across looking incompetent, but in addition they come across looking like they don't give a damn about any of the players affected, and they come across as incredibly stupid for not realizing how bad it looks for them to not say anything.
If you choose to assume the absolute worst of ZOS that's your prerogative @Inklings. I choose to give them the benefit of the doubt. The simplest answer is usually the right one: they think they fixed the problem and because it's the weekend nobody is working and they don't know that there are ongoing issues.
It doesn't happen every weekend, not by a long shot. Small scattered issues with connecting to the server caused by all kinds of different issues with ISPs, routing, etc happen a lot, but this isn't something like that. No, they're not. You realize this actually happens every weekend to some effect and has for months now. Just cause youre being effected this weekend doesnt mean its a new issue. What is happening now is part of their anti DDOS system. Its why we can all log into EU, the PTS and even to NA if we use a VPN. A few players, sometimes more then others suffer every weekend to hide these attacks. As long as they keep it to a few players its not a big enough problem for it to "make them look bad" as you put it. Its why every weekend the same process happens and people can then play again come Tuesday and they NEVER address the problem publicly explaining whats going on. I would LOVE for them to come on here and prove me wrong but their lack of any responsibility week after week speaks volumes.

THIS WORKED FOR ME, WILL PROBABLY WORK FOR YOU:
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Elder Scrolls Online\Launcher
Rename ProgramData folder to ProgramData Backup and launch the launcher for an update. This is what worked for me now and last time this happened.

This is something that has happened a couple of times over the last couple of months, and when it happens it affects large numbers of players - as you can tell by how many threads pop up about it (remember that the forums represent only a small fraction of the playerbase, and only a smaller subset of that fraction are PC/NA players - if there are dozens of thread popping up about it here then you know it's affecting a lot of people). When there are dozens of active threads on the forums, and tons of people on twitter (and presumably reddit) talking about it and there's not even a "we're aware of the issue but have no updates at this time" message from ZOS that's incredibly bad optics. It would take monumental stupidty on their part to allow that to happen if they knew this was going on.
