This game and its community are so close to becoming another DCUO--which is a clusteruck now after catering to dps for so long and ignoring any kind of roles or structure.
Also there's a new "direct damage" CP star that no one seems to be talking about.

✭I'm never doing anything but max damageWhen I come up with a build, I use one set for damage and one set for utility/resources. This is how I make a build usually.
So for example If I want to build something like a dw/bow build for stam in PvP,
one of the best sets for bow in PvP is the Marksman's Crest set..
It has alot of recovery and has cost reduction (5%) for stam abilities and it still does good damage in PvP when using a bow against other players.. this set has great utility for recovery / cost reduction and also has damage, the set has been around for a bit and is pretty easy to obtain as well at guild traders.
the 2nd set could be straight damage, like Hundings Rage (which is a good crafted set) or Automaton or Sword Dancer.. if you want to take time and farm the dungeons they are tied to..
if it was Magicka, the Craftable Seducer set is the Utility set I would go with and something like Spider cultist or Spinners Garments or something else for the damage set.Signed, Kotaro Atani.PS5 NAVR16/ CP 160 Khajiit Nightblade of the Aldmeri Dominion, Guildmaster and Assassin of the Queen's Hand guild on NA PC. I'm never doing anything but max damageLow resources + max damage should be an equivalent without seeing a big hit on a stamina DK. Even maybe going to consider running molag kena as it got slightly buffed.
The way things will become is that good players will always find an alternative builds and playstyles on staying relevant, but with those changes mediocre and bad players will suffer the most.0 -

✭✭✭Hybridi chose hybrid cuz its likely going to be a combo of things.- choose different sets maybe in some cases.
- choose different glyphs in some cases.
- change spell selections and rotations maybe in some cases.
- being more careful to kill with the right attack in some cases - passives.
- and prolly mostly a bit of all in most cases but each character is different so... it will vary.
no changes to glyphs so still spell dam.
Chose to not use punc sweeps for easy mode mob kills just for fun.
undaunted delve and mage daily solo no problem - not that there wasn't an impact, magica bar went all over the place when i got stupid.
obviously this isn't a vet maelstrom run or a hard mode trials run so the small, fraction of players who run that may be laughing but... they will just have to wait for test reports from those and see what tweaks occur from a casual play content and even the solo pub content perspective, it did not hit hard at all.
obviously, upon review, this build could use a bit of regearing anyway so i will likely replace vlord with a better sustain set and work in some monster helms for her solo pledge and there i likely wont bench sweeps.
i just wanted to see how the useless and crippled templar performed,

✭✭✭✭✭Probably little bit of everything as a tank. Mostly I just feel bad for my non DK tanks, I've hardly used them at all since the last major block nerf and now even less reason to use them.
I mean, I guess they could nerf DK even more, then I'd hate tanking on every class instead of all but one of them.-- @xaraan --

SnubbS✭✭✭✭✭I don't play ESO unless I'm ball-zerging. Obviously you're going to have Aura&Orbs in group at all times—might have to run light seducer over spinner, or enchant with reduced cost. Overall, we have a lot less options for sustaining, so whatever the meta for sustain becomes—expect everyone to do it.0
