AFTER The Templar Fixes... can we get some improvements too while its still on pts?
Ive mentioned this in another thread.. but im gonna bring it up here and see what others think...
Now that they are making templars less dominate over trial healing and just healing in general... allowing for other classes to now participate in healing moreso since templars will not have its uniqueness there anymore...
Can we makeit to where templars can tank a lot easier then it is now?... I main as a templar tank and i love it but it has its draw backs id like to see some of those draw backs remedied now that it seems that you are trying to make all classes be similar in effectiveness in regard to roles....
What templars lack in tanking

And stat restoration ... (which after this youve made it even more difficult)
As far as roots go i have two options that i think would be fair...
Option 1.) Make solar barrage a pointblank aoe that roots all targets around you in the radius that it hits its an insta cast and i think it would be a great way of making this ability useful...
Option 2.) Make luminous shards a multitarget root that way we can use it get our spear passive out of it and the restoration that it gives every 20 seconds....
As far as stat restore is concerned lets be honest yes repentance is great at giving back stamina so long as there are dead bodies... sadly single boss fights this can be an issue.. and you have removed the effectiveness of engine guardian along with this ability for single boss fights... and all thought the change to luminous shards is good..it wont be reliable as it can be iffy at which stat you will get when you need it...
Couple of changes id like to see implanted
Change 1.) Give super nova ultimate a stat restor ability for magika and stamina ... you can leave off health as we have lots of means as a templar to keep getting healed... but if super nova while its out restored a significant chunk of stamina and magika that would help templar tanks out a lot but do not i repeat do not take away its ability to reduce the damage you ar taking otherwise... it already does weak damage so its not like this will make the ability op ...
Change 2.) repentance... two options for this
Option 1.) make it a synergy that can only be synergized in a group every 10 seconds and gives everyone a stam restore... the heal from it is still instant and for everyone...
Option 2.) Allow dead bodies to be repented by everyone not just one person one repent...
CHANGE 3.) Luminous Shards if this is going to be shared with orbs then its needs some uniqueness with it.. i have a few options here...
Option 1.) for 20 seconds allow lumious shards to restore both magic and stam That way its not identical to orbs
Option 2.) have both spear morphs give give a restore to a specific stat... although makeit slightly less then what the base ability does, however being a guarantee rather then which ever stat is lower at the time... so lets say luminous shards let it only give stamina back every 20 seconds you know luminous shard will give you stamina back and can be synergized by an ally to get stam back... while also rooting all targets in the surrounding area... this would be a great tank ability... where as you can have blazing spears give back only magika every 20 seconds but then it also does damage over time..a great dps ability...
One last suggestion .. if we are trying to make all classes have access to abilities other classes have through different skill ines.. such as shards is basically orbs... and now breath of life heal basically works like the resto staff heal...
Can you please make a universal pull ...i know a lot of dragon knights will hate that i suggest this..but i would love there to be a universal single target pulland i think the trapping webs morph tangling webs would be a great spot to put a single target pull instead of the synergy fearing the enemy just drop any synergy ability it has..and make it a pull..
This wouldnt just help templar tanks this would help all tanks across the board... its not a absolute necessity for tanking to pull adds but it sure comes in handy if you want it ...
