Closing patch notes discussion

Whats with ZOS censoring all these discussions about patch notes? I see most of them being closed. I understand some are useless rants and rage, but many are not. Seems like a lot of post questioning their decision to nerf most classes are all getting closed. Even if they are producing positive feedback. Its very frustrating. Apparently we aren't allowed to the discuss the game we pay to play and have any feedback on it?

Dont know which threads excatly OP talking about but I think many posts inside those threads could violate NDA or simply too many people got to emotional and dont provide constructive feedback.

Most of these posts translate to infantile screeching. Post something constructive and the mods will let it stand until the replies die off. Even if the post criticizes the company.

Many of us are console players and can't test it. Doesn't mean we don't understand how nerfs will affect the game though.

I don't know why people keep saying "stay calm, its only PTS" or "it's premature to rage about upcoming changes that aren't final". The fact that changes such as Templars shards & Repentance and DK's shield and Major Mending are even on PTS is offensive.

These examples are a clear indication that ZOS doesn't have a grasp on team dynamics or core class skills; skills that make the experience playing a Templar vs a NB different. Given the history of PTS changes, I can only conclude Raging about these changes is the only acceptable means of communication.

It's best mostly try to bring discussions in one area for classes and such. It helps keep things organized instead of all over the place. I get it having the same discussion on the forums over and over is a bit frustrating to keep up.

With all of the "game is broken" and "sustain is out of control" and "BOL is OP" threads we have seen over the last year, I'm surprised anybody is upset about anything in the PTS patch notes.

So at what point before launch I hope. Do you relay that you have listened to the overwhelming feedback that in fact these changes are not wanted by 99% of the player base. And not the usual case of doing it 6 months down the line in the "next incremental patch" at which point you will have already lost a huge amount of players? Rather than the usual ignore everything and evidently censor zos actually needs to l2communicate. The brief comments next to some of the changes are by no means clear or justified.

Since the patch notes are on the closed beta forum, and they are being leaked into the general forum, I'm not surprised the threads get closed.

I'm surprised that the leakers are not getting punished for infringing the NDA, though.

Because those people are idiots. just because you spam ambush om a someome in a group with a healer doing healer things doesn't mean zos should take action. Sure, complain about it. To me it's babble, but fine vent aboit it whatever. If zos had a grip on reality these notes wouldnt exist. You know what? I had a lvl 20 spam ambush on my stamplar about a year ago. I literally walked away from him in imperial city amd proceeded to farm until he died to aoes.

At least now we know why you can't buy morrowind with crowns. *** warden.

Just scanned through 3 pages in this general section. Only one thread about the patch notes has been closed because there was another similar thread. Set to keep conversations together instead of scattered.

threads that are moved to an appropriate category appear closed but are not and there were a couple of them.

Threads modeled after "I quit" or boycott threads have been closed this week but their new t constructive in any manner and violate the rules of the forums.
