I killed a Red player in the sewer zone and he said..and i quote "you're a zerging piece of S**t and you should kill yourself" It almost hurt my feelings, then I remembered I didn't have any.

It's just funny to me because it wasn't even a zerg. There were like 6 of us and two of them and they attacked us.. so... :/

Why can't we all just get along?

If they hit you first, down they go. They can cry all they want about whether or not it was a fair fight. smh

There are too many people in Cyro who think they should never get killed, and can't deal with the feels when they inevitably do.
Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

I remember one time someone sending me a message telling me they were sorry for killing me (we ran into each other at some dolmen in cyro)...

another time in IC an enemy group of about six or so players actually let me join in on a roaming boss kill (i kited right after before any one figured out i just picked up a bunch of tel var stones)...

folks are nice to you a lot when they're winning, or, they feel they have control...once, they lose...not so much

Because it is very frustrating when you loose your stones in an unfair fight and it brings lots of toxicity. tagging @ZOS_BrianWheeler

That's one of the reasons IC is empty now.

@Didgerion that's the risk you take in IC. If he didn't want to lose his stones, then he could have went stealthy and left rather than being so arrogant and attacking a lager group. Then to tell me I should kill myself because he lost a fight he initiated? Doesn't add up...

I agree. I do a lot of solo play in IC and die alot, it's the price I pay. I think IC/Sewers is much more suited to groups so I'm not going to get mad if a group kills me on my own because when I'm in a group we do the same thing lol

Yeah I've been there many times in pug groups when it just released, then leveled there all my alts - very profitable even if ganged - but that's it. The negative feeling of unfair robbery makes me not to want go down there.

The ganker(s) need just one op build and you are screwed - or if lucky and you survive - the attacker risk is 0 - he looses 0 stones if his gang attempt fails - show me the fairness here.

And yeah I don't like to take that unfair risk and you have one player less there just because of that reason. But it looks empty to me - looks like a lot of players share my feelings.

That's one of the reasons IC is empty now.

that is pointing at the correct answer.

the answer usually is that people are using broken mechanics and groups to kill solo players.

I love rage whispers and it's the most fun to be super nice back to them. It pisses them off even more.

One time a guy was rage whispering me and ended up doing the classic turd reply of "1v1 me!' so I said, "okay I'll meet you on the north side of Bleakers." Then never went. After like 15 minutes, he was like "I'm here waiting" and I said "okay I'm on my way!" I think I was down at Blackboot by that point...

    @dwemer_paleologist, It's actually pretty balanced

The larger the group the safer you are, but the lest stones you get as a reward

Solo players have higher risk but much higher telvar payouts.

I've been killed plenty of times and lost my fair share of stones. It's pvp and you can't win them all. Like is said, he initiated the fight with us, we were there for skyshards.

We're supposed to back off of a fight that he started and say "oh, guys... he's outnumbered, lets let him kill us." ???

Not sure whether I can agree to that, Aidee. In my experience hate whispers and t-bagging are signs of unworthy players who have no other means to show "superiority" because they are too bad to kill even a critter unless they can 20vs1 it.

And you remember the hilarious EP player who hate-whispers everybody who kills him in TF, EU with "You have been reported for false use of xxx (fill in "game mechanic", "animation canceling", "skill XY" ...). Ticket number is xxxx-xxxx. Next I will talk to my guild master." Dont think he means this as a compliment, either. But it makes our whole faction laugh whenever someone posts his latest "report".

By now, it's almost a sign of bad gameplay not to have received one of his whispers!

That's the point, though. They don't mean it to be a compliment, but it usually happens after you've really annoyed them by beating the crap out of them.. Which kind of makes it an endorsement of your good gameplay.. Therefore an unintended complement!

And as long as I choose to see it that way, then it makes me happy! But then I sometimes feel sad when I don't get tbagged...

When in IC always think that you have 50% of the stones you really have and you'll never get angry.

You don't have 10,000 stones. You have 5,000 stones and you're keeping 5,000 warm for someone else. It will keep your blood pressure a bit lower.

oh yeah, I'm always ready to grab a big handful of someone else stones...

Edit: favorite score to date was some poor random soul strolling through the memorial district...another player and myself were on the DC platform staying safe and casually farming...we each got at least 3 or 4 arrows in to them (they just ran the wrong way)...it was a smooth 2k...
