Wouldn't jump to this conclusion just yet:

    - We haven't had all of the changes for our current 4 classes yet. It's just like with Homestead, more changes come with the later patches until live. For all we know, the next update might bring buffs or beneficial overhauls.
    - The Warden is more than likely not excluded from nerfs either. The class may look good on paper, but it needs to be thoroughly tested to see how strong it can really be so that later patches may adjust the Warden to be on equal footing with the other 4 classes

Until the final patch notes, I wouldn't exactly start screaming that this game is turning P2W.

    No.

If an expansion is a P2W "paywall", then nearly every major game in existence has been that way.

(Diablo 2 was totally p2w with those Assassins and Druids stuck behind that Lord of Destruction paywall!)

I have to disagree on Diablo 2, the best class was implemented at launch. #NecromacyOrNothing!

Hammerdin was and always will be king.

Similar thread and I don't know which one will be locked so copied from my other post:

Yeah I do agree unfortunately. Many say oh those templars were way OP and had it coming for awhile. My response then is, why now? Why 2 nerfs in a row just a tiny bit of time before this new Warden is released?

If templars were oh so powerful, why did it take over 3 whole YEARS for these nerfs? Furthermore, will we have a massive roll back to the beginning since my Captain Rank in Alliance war on my Templar and first char Geedo must have been unjustly earned!

Of course you won't roll back because you how ridiculous that would be. Wiping for some people 3 LONG YEARS of play time. So, then why after all this time are you messing around with ORIGINAL class skills?

If Warden is good let that stand alone for itself. Don't crap on my old healing class just to make warden look good!

ESO has definitely become P2W. Post 2 Whine.

They haven't even open beta'd yet and people have been screaming that the world is ending. It isn't. If you want to do something CONSTRUCTIVE, go on the PTS, play, and give feed back. Eventually Morrowind will hit opn beta and then you can try that out.

Yeah getting forums for a bit. FYI though I bought morrowind for 3 people, me as one. And likely say squeaky wheel gets the grease. So stirrup a crowd here will make our voices be heard and justice be done. Any how catch y'all in game in a bit!

Its a pay 4 convenience game now, but they do seem to be headed for the pay to win status.

Yep they're pretty much there although P2W and P4C is still on debate, you can already see the signs that this game is heading the P2W road even if they deny it or not. To be exact, a good MMO doesn't need to lock a specific gear, race, or class behind a DLC Pay-Wall because DLC's was just meant to have a new map, new achievement/xp grinds, new story, new game modes, & new cosmetics. If they go way beyond those categories then clearly the game is dying and in dire need of funds and sooner or later, the last resort is the P2W content/s.

Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

If they sold SPC directly in the item shop it would be P2W. But selling a DLC that also contains a useful set you have to earn through playing the game is not the same thing.

We can't reasonably expect them to not include anything desireable or effective in any of the future content releases just to avoid the appearance of P2W.
