@melloni_aleb16_ESO Well if u want to run away and stuff it's still there. Heavy attacks are there to reward the player for being aggressive. Sure yeah u can heavy attack and dodge roll just to be alive. Now if this CP goes live players have to adept and figure out and say oh do I need more mooncalf or tenacity? Or Do I need sprinter or break free cost if not roll dodge. In pve ur just hitting a mob that is standing still and u will want more tenacity and mooncalf or arcanist it just depends.

How cute that Alcast thinks ZOS is going to implement serious changes to their intended Morrowind Patch. Has this guy been playing the same game?

Not the worst thing to have a little bit of hope tbh.
But end of the day their (ppl invited to ZOS HQ) input to ZOS played a part to changes made for morrowind

What the hell... I'm so glad this isn't my main game. The healing change to BoL is kind of cool—from a PvP perspective at least. This 180 degree cone is actually not that bad, there aren't many times on my PvP healer where I'm purposely hitting BoL to heal someone behind me—in fact that's never the case for me.

The DK changes basically delete DK from the game—DK is already the worst overall class in PvP. StamDK is the worst stam class, MagDK is only really useful in Small-scale PvP (It is good in Small Scale though.) This patch basically deletes small-scale from the game, and nerfs everyone's sustain—but it hurts DK the most. I play 5x light with two cost reductions, 100 into reduced cost and my talons are 2550~ this class has the worst sustain already, the CP being as it is helps MagDK more than any class—small scale helps MagDK have a niche, and those are the two things being nerfed the hardest. This patch just murders DK—you aren't even supposed to play this class, that's what the Devs are saying with this update. Don't play a DK. I'm a One-Star on my MagDK about to push for five stars—should I just buy a race change token to WoodElf, stack 4k stam regen and "3-2-1 My rapids" my way to AvA 50? Oh wait, I was going to do that anyway because of how poorly the class performs in group play.

This is the only balance resource change that was needed in ESO

    Heavy Armor

Constitution: Reduced the Magicka and Stamina restored by this passive ability by approximately 42%.

And we got it—we actually got it.

yea if u are talking about raid group play stamina classes especially stamplar and stamdk are pretty much useless. Thus I tend to only play in small groups or solo. But I totally understand your frustration

I mean as far I know—StamDK never had anything for group play. Magma shell is a joke, trying to play offensively with Standard is a joke. At least if your rapids build was a Stamplar before and he was getting all the repents—your group was getting a lot more bang for their buck in terms of dead bodies equaling out to more Stam.

It isn't like MagDK is useful right now in group play either—and they didn't get a buff next patch, they still don't bring anything. You can put a destro on, and be a less effective bomber, who hits for less and spams a worse version of Encase, like why would you want that in your group? Their most useful group oriented skill is a pain in the ass to use offensively, hits for about as much as Hurricane, and provides a debuff that you can get from a Regular Warden Active Skill. So why would you even bother? Their only real use is small scale—that got nerfed hard.

I would also bet any amount of money that the Warden skill will heal for more than Shifting Standard damages for—and I bet you can at least place it somewhere besides directly on top of you. Like if we're going to hit sej side alessia bridge, I bet you can throw a heal debuff 12 meters away on top of the zerg in the hallway and have your destros push into that. You can't do that with Standard.

An opportunity was missed here in regards to giving MagDK something, anything for organized PvP. Shifting Standard needed a change—either have it be like liquid lightning, where you can just throw it out and push into it, or have it where you can no longer recast the ability, but the ability just follows you and you can use it like Destro-Ult to apply a relevant debuff to your opponents. You could actually do something unique—and at least have a few different options with the class. There aren't any dynamic choices that are going to be made by blanket increasing the cost of abilities by 10-25%—there are going to be very few ways to play this class—less than are now, and nearly all of them will look the same.

I usually just debuff enemy with noxious then time my ulti with my buddies in a small scale group as a stam dk (2~6 men max)
If I were to play in raids stam DK can just be a meat ball front line and debuffer because caltrops+rapids will be done by stam sorc or stam NB for sure.

About warden I dare not to comment too much because I havent really touch it yet. But I reckon its gonna be top tier for sure

MagDK at least got 2 reduction buffs comparing to stamDK. But yea they still need help offensively

Game is fracked... always these huge and massive changes every DLC and no small fixes in between, not even when they clearly F'up the game... when will they learn that combat design on paper with some mediocre small scale internal testing is nothing like the live server. Balance would be so much better if they just made small incremental changes every week.... but we're stuck with the ZOS delivery strategy and an apparently incompetent combat design team/lead sigh...
That's what I am hoping for too. Small changes every 2 weeks or even every month would be awesome. But what we get is for every 2 patches 1 big mad change...

    @crusnik91 , amazing post!

They could add more hard content and new difficulty tiers for the existing one ....not nerf players.

Even I'm a huge fan of the ES Universe , and of ESO too..I'm upset when seeing developers nerfing players instead of adding more content .

They should also separate PVE from PVP , especially because they canceled the last part of justice system with open PVP.

    Excuse my english.

Here's a great idea. Most of these nerfs are because of pvp so..... instead of shafting pve while making the changes pvp needs. Keep them separate. I agree pvp is broken right now with the infinite resources and heavy armor templars but these changes are screwing over the pve aspect really bad. Another observation i had was a lot of these nerfs and changes seem to be pushing people toward the warden class and race changing from redguard. This would be a money grabbing patch, however, i hope that is not the case. This patch seems like zos listened to us when we said things were broken but they didnt listen on how to fix them. In the end all i am saying is add nerfs that are only applied in pvp or remove cp from pvp all together, but dont change pve. Most of us hardcore dedicated pvp players will be in battlegrounds anyways with no cp.

They posted recently that PVP and PVE will work together as one and they will balance the game according. So yea unfortunately it is not happening :/
The thing is they change CP a lot yea u can still go to Non-CP. But then they also nerf so many class defining skills from DK and Templar... That's a BIG BIG ISSUE imo

Basically you dont agree with 90% of the changes?

Im quite happy they've killed of the infinite sustain crap that has plagued the game for a year, bringing sustain back as an actual thought in both pve and pvp is a good change in my book.

In PvP yes, in PvE hell no

NB's invisibility needs to be nerfed, so as they can't break all attacks just by casting it. This is tooooooooooo overly OP.

Yes NB is clearly the most OP class ever in the history of ESO... forget about PvP mag Sorcerer ninja - assasin - tank - warior - mage OP...
NB can do thieves guild quest ! ! ! OMG OP nerf please ! xD
    (* ^ Sarcasm ^ *)

NB invisibility last only 2,9 sec. Additionally - it used to remove 1 negative effects - but it was already nerfed so much in the past...

With all the seriousness removing stealth dmg bonus is a ridiculously bad move. ZOS really wants NB to be unplayable or what ?
NB relies on stealh in order to survive and for stealth dmg bonus for DPS. It is a core game-play mechanics for NB. Removing this is the equivalent of not allowing sorcerer to summon pets or removing templar healing bonuses...

btw. The most popular class in eso seems to be sorcerer. And there is a good reason for it. In PvP it is like 90% of cyrodill population. And sorcerer had almost no significant changes whatsoever in the PTS patch notes... :*

No sorry but you don't know anything, leave it to the people that have actual careers and qualifications. No the game isn't going to crash and burn, no people are not going to leave. Just move on already its so tragic to see adults acting like this.

In what way it is OP ? NB invisibility last only 2,9 sec. (fully buffed). Additionally - it used to remove 1 negative effects - but it was already nerfed so much in the past...

If you have just a little bit experience in PvP than you know how to counter it. It is just too easy to counter skill that is supposed to give NB some survivability... (hell it is even in class description that NB rely on stealth... )

Compare it to sorcerers stackable shield (Conjured Ward) You can go full DPS and still be Incredibly tanky...

There are far too many skills in ESO PvP that can pull you out of stealth (yes even if you use Shadow Cloak skill). And the best part is that those skills don't even have in their description that they reveal hidden/stealth targets.
Haunting Curse for example. It de-cloaks you twice...
