Sustain was basically ignored in most of pve and pvp. People are so angry that they have to think about sustain again.
You are not alone, I love these changes. Now people are going to actually have to gear for resource management. Long over due if you ask me.

I see people making a choice between sustain with lower damage or high damage and relying on their group to support them.

Apparently @zuto40 is moderating me
If we have to choose between sustain or dps once again zeni force us to play their way not the way we want to, they don't seem to grasp the core element which made the Elder Scrolls so successful, wait for it.....Freedom of choice, to play the game the way you want. I know people will say new sets, new builds, problem solved, well grinding in this game is so stupid its untrue with way too many awful traits. They need to reverse their stupid nerfing, after a 2 month break I come back to my templar to find myself only maxing dps at 40k. In regard to pvp yeah most nerfing is in relation to it but again that is zeni's fault, as pvp is in a different instance then sure nerf whatever you like, when you leave cyro remove the nerfing, not exactly rocket science if you have an actual brain lol. Already cancelled my sub as with way better mmo's on the horizon zeni really need to sort this mess of a game out, if not they deserve to lose their player base. Me am done with this unstable mess of incompetent programming for now, need a break, back to stable games with interesting storylines, and oh yeah combos, not stupid rotations.

Free thought.
Those conclusions though usually result in the ESO Doomsday cult and habitual quitters coming out, most from the console portion of the game where they don't have the PTS to test this stuff out.
I have the PTS to test stuff out and I'm done with this game.
Let people make their own decisions, your not your brothers keeper.
@Doctordarkspawn Bruh, you are easily 1 of my favorite posters on these forums. I swear you be telling straight facts and the truth. Take this strong +1, fam'. Keep telling it like it is.
I try.
Though to be honest this may be the last time I -do- post. I paid for a game and I'm no longer able to play it how I want to. RIP.
Chill out.
Seriously.
The PTS exists for a reason, you know? If you have a serious problem with one of the changes in the patch notes, go ahead and let ZOS know why and how. But maybe try to be constructive about it?
Put the brakes on the quit threads, the RIP threads, and the you've-ruined-the-game threads.
At least give the PTS team a chance to adjust their plans before you go Full Drama Mode™. I mean, c'mon...the beta just started.
Just because it's in the patch notes doesn't mean it'll make it into the final product, so do yourself a favor and calm down.
It's going to be OK. Just BREATHE.
D0ntevenL1ft wrote: »So you're completely unfamiliar with how ZOS rarely makes any big changes from PTS to game patch?
No chill.
alephthiago wrote: »Maybe its because we know they have very limited resources and ~70% of the stuff ends up on live anyway?
This is my 6th patch and we all know how things work, one or other skill ends up being changed but in general changes and bugs go to live.
That's no different from any other game, so complaining about it changes exactly zilch.
The whole reason the beta is closed with an NDA this time is so that ZOS can get the most quality feedback possible. If you want to contribute to that feedback, the best way is to participate in the beta, if you can. If not, then make constructive feedback outside of the beta.
The key here is to actually contribute in a meaningful manner.
SO the angry people can choose to either rage and see nothing come of their angry threads, or they can choose to at least try to give ZOS something they can use in the way of constructive feedback. It's a tough choice, I'm sure.
Oh wait...
