Chill out.
Seriously.
The PTS exists for a reason, you know? If you have a serious problem with one of the changes in the patch notes, go ahead and let ZOS know why and how. But maybe try to be constructive about it?
Put the brakes on the quit threads, the RIP threads, and the you've-ruined-the-game threads.
At least give the PTS team a chance to adjust their plans before you go Full Drama Mode™. I mean, c'mon...the beta just started.
Just because it's in the patch notes doesn't mean it'll make it into the final product, so do yourself a favor and calm down.
It's going to be OK. Just BREATHE.
Chill out.

How long have you been playing this game? 95% of everything that hits PTS stays the same... Last thing I saw changed from the PTS was the bone shield buff attempt.

Sustain is nerfed across the board. Both Magician and warlord are gone.
All armor buffs got nerfed, heavy armor especially.
Rapid strikes got a 60% increase, and most class methods of sustain got nerfed.
The game itself, mobs, damage, and health numbers, were not built to suit.

It wasn't Rapid Strikes, it was Twin Slashes.

Okay I am still playing the part of a-hole but what rewards we get for playing the game for a long time. I fully support the welcoming new comers to the game, but with the initial cap of 600 I feel the game has little to no rewards. Still this needs to be tested and as someone not having the betal invitation I truly hope they know what they are doing.

Sustain was basically ignored in most of pve and pvp. People are so angry that they have to think about sustain again.

This is my 6th patch and we all know how things work, one or other skill ends up being changed but in general changes and bugs go to live.
THIS 100x. Do we really have to have a "ITS JUST A TEST" post every patch cycle. "Just wait and see" is not an effective strategy for a company that doesn't reverse bad decisions unless there is a complete uproar.
Either way its kind of fun seeing people react to all the nerfs. Most of that stuff has been nerfed before. Battle roar, nerfed before. Redguard. nerfed before.
It's time to admit the POWER CREEP caused by the disgusting champeon system is killing the game and the only solution is to remove it, spit on it's memory and re-instate smarter attribute controls (like softcaps).
The only thing I'm going to admit is that unless the content is changed to suit, and it wont, this game dosent want my money.

Oh all the complaining and 'I quit' threads are typical, it happens every major patch when there are significant changes. Yet, those same players who threatened to quit are still here and those who left were replaced by new players who knew nothing of what the game 'use to be'.
Chill out.

My take on it too, most will not notice this first as they will level wardens, take him to dungeons and he sucks, yes he is not max level, try main who also suck.Doctordarkspawn wrote: »Minnesinger wrote: »Doctordarkspawn wrote: »Minnesinger wrote: »Can someone list the biggest changes? This isn't really giving the newcomers anything tho.
You can go ahed and test the base game patches on the regular PTS, the only thing under NDA is the morrowind content.
But yeah, no, if anything this is gonna drive new people away because they'll just hit that wall of 'sod off' sooner. In fact, all this does is hurt everyones ability to do all the content, and that's why you see the massive outcry.
If ZOS wants to go ahed and reverse it, it might get my money again. As it stands? They seem to have forsaken everything for the sake -of- the hardcore raiders and PVPers who want everything to be a ticklefight.
