"We're excited to announce that The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is coming to our Public Test Server in just a couple weeks! However, this time we're doing things a bit differently, and we will be holding a closed beta for ESO: Morrowind. While everyone will be able to help test the base game content on the PTS, any content included in ESO: Morrowind will be invite-only. In addition, everyone logging onto the PTS will be required to agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon login.

We'll make sure to post the PTS Patch Notes in a public area so everyone can read about the upcoming features and improvements. We look forward to welcoming some of our most dedicated players to Vvardenfell very soon, and we can't wait to see your feedback!"

    The call of duty one was updated a few times when it was in beta.

    They could just do 2 updates during the beta month on console as opposed to the 4 they do on PC.

    I won't get one.

    I play on both PC and Xbox, but on my PC account I have never once set foot into the PTS.

    So I know I won't get an invite.

    And I'm perfectly OK with that.

    Looking forward to balance changes.

    And I must insist Battlegrounds should be opened to everyone for better testing but I guess that must be hard to code.

    Morrowind isn't a game tho it's only DLC so if it were actually a new game then yes consoles would allow the developer to hold a beta but because it's only DLc, no the developer would not be allow d to do so under today's allowances.

    Maybe that will change someday

    This was a seperate game tho meaning it actually is listed as a seperate game on Xbox one it's not DLC of the Battlefield game.

    I can consider this PTS but not how ZOS does PTS. It's was also not a beta or alpha it was in the old Preview Program now called Xbox Insider but required a few conditions which wouldn't best serve this communities desires.

    So in essence, ZOS would have to submit a "preview game" but to be honest, do we see ZOS in a position to manage and handle anything extra? (Especially under Xbox's program which ZOS shows they aren't particularly familiar with )

    To be fair EA games have issues but in many cases they proactively address and resolve almost all the game breaking or known issues

    ZOS isn't of that philosophy so while it could be cool initially, I can't foresee this under a logical or realistic design from ZOS.....the company who regularly promotes things that conflict with the consoles design in terms of game breaking, performance issues and payment issues lingering for 9 months to 2+ years.

    If I get in, the first thing I'll do is go test resource management with the CP changes, with different ability and itemization options.

    Yes, I know I can do this without an invitation by testing the base game features, but without an invitation I will probably not be tempted to reinstall the PTS client. :wink:

    create a warden to test skills passives etc, then run through morrowind looking for bugs to be fixed to help with the operation of the content from pts to live.

    The CP changes will be part of the base game patch, so you'll be able to test them regardless of any invitation for Morrowind.
      PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!. Outfit slots not being accountwide is ridiculous given their price. PC EU/PC NA roleplayer and solo PvE quester

      Start a warden, try to figure out a reasonable pvp build, and battleground.
