Just Got A Major Bug.

Okay I just got hit with a major bug. What happened is that I was improving my weapons from Epic (purple) to Legendary (gold) with the use of tempering alloys. I was improving two swords of the Suducer. Of which I improve both swords with a 100% chance of success. After Improving my swords I went into my inventory to count how many Legendary items I had, and as I scrolled down I noticed that both my swords are still Epic and did not improve to Legendary. I went into my bank to double check and see if I didn't accidently improve any other swords. But all I seen was my Alessia Bullwark swords and they were already gold. After that I procceded to the Blacksmithing bench and went into the Improvement tab of which I get the message "No Items to Improve". Yet my Suducer swords are still purple. I went into my bank again to double check some things and notice that the game is givng me the option to deposit my Alessia Bullwark swords into my bank. However they are already placed in my bank and they do no appear in my actual inventory tab under the standard menu UI.

I don't know what to make of this glitch or how to fix it. Does anyone know what is happening or how to fix it? I am also trying to file a bug report, but the "Optional" text box the developers gives us does not have enought space to type out a short explenation. I also can't seem to find the bug report system Support tab of the website. Does anyone know where I can go and file a bug report of this?

Sorry for the late reply, had to get some sleep. I had did a soft relog before I went to bed and that did not fix the problem. I just woke up and fully restarted my game and the issue is still there. The weapons still purple and nothing to improve in the implrovement tab of the crafting station. I also just did a /reloadui and that didn't help.

I had also just submited a Support Ticket in gamel, but a response could take a little while. So any help here would be greatly appreciated.

No, they are not.

Try and LInk them in chat so a friend can see them and see what quality they are. Might tell you if it a bug for you or the item.

I used your suggestion and did just that. The indiviual in my guild who I did it with said that the item was purple when I linked it in chat.

Yes. The realization that they game didn't upgrade and me checking what the issue was, was done in a very short time frame of about 2 to 4 minutes. I basically checking the Blacksmithing anvil twice to see why the swords wouldn't improve.

Screenshot the unimproved sword at the Blacksmithing anvil, then take another screenshot as you try to improve the sword, and one further screenshot after your attempt to improve the sword, and post them here.

That will be three screenshots, all with the Blacksmithing anvil window open.

I can't do that. When I go to the improvement tab of the blacksmithing table, the games shows a text that says "No weapons to improve". Even though I have the purple swords.

Is it possible to post a video from the link you provided? If so I can do that, if not I will then post the screen shots. However I really need to go get something to eat before resturants start closing in my area. So I'll do that as soon as I can.

Tey mailing the weapons to someone and ask them to RTS it back to you. Maybe that will fix the hiccup? Don't know why it would, but it's worth a try.

You could host the video on youtube.

A video would be even better, that console UI is rubbish, can't see anything.

They aren't equipped when you are trying to improve them, right?

That sounds simply like a bug. A less major one I believe I've found is if you have two of the same locked weapons (say you're dw) and go to improve one, you must unlock both to do so. I found it out when I went to improve two hundings swords, they didn't show up, and I was like "Ummm...." till my feeble mind figured it out.

You know what, I think you might be right. I'll have to check in in a little bit. My game just crashed and I'm having loggin issues because of the crash. But once I get back in I will check that as soon as the game lets me back in.

I almost have a 100% positivity that you are right and that's what I did wrong. And I'm going to be so annoyed if this is what the actual issue is and I never though about it. But I will still have to check just in case once the game lets me back in.

Issued has been resolved. The mistake was on my part and not from any game mechanic, one would say that I made a rookie or "noob" mistake. The issue was that upon upgrading my weapons I forgot to remove them from my slotted inventory (equipped). And instead I accidently improved another set of swords that I though I had already improved to legendary. The quite foolish of me to do this, I have learned vaulable lesson. "Don't do something that cost a lot of coin when you are tired. And when tired, get some sleep before making a discision."


I do like to thank those who helped me in finding the cause of the issue and solved the problem.

That's what I suspected was going on (why I was asking you to post a screenshot of your equipped items window).
