Well that's your problem then! Can't you? or won't you?

You have to describe everything about whatever your situation was clearly and as much proof as you can! Lucky for me I had the screen shots but they had other logs anyways they verified with. So be patient with them, they are busy too! And give as much details as you can! Time frames, screenshots it all helps them help you!
My experience is that they usually wont even contact me back
Although there was this one time I had created 3 new characters with a joke name. One random player told me that someone might take the joke as an offence and report me so I turned myself in to ZOS and said I might need 3 name changes.
I got them all for free and becouse I had contacted them before any reports had been sent they said there will be no consecuences

In my case I gave pretty much every detail I could think about, from the character it was on, time it was deposited, what my character was wearing, what I had for dinner that night
but after 2-3 weeks of continuous automatic responses I gave up
It really just depends on who you get to be honest, I've had some great people, some bad people, and some weird robot people

At first its a generic robot just with automated suggestions, but you can reply to this email address that the bot sent from and that's what I do. They real people receive it then and help you out best they can!

Little Background:
Me and a few friends formed a little guild and we got a little over members enough to have the bank. I like helping people out so most mats in there are for our members to do writs everyday. And all of us contributeGold is in there too. Generally its for restocking some material were short of (usually ancestor silk or rubedite ingots.) But currently I promised our newest member I would help her save for a better house. So usually compete all writs on the characters of mine that are max level. (Even if the crafting is level 1 still gives 600 coins for each craft, so like 3,600 a day for all 6).
Main Story:
Anyway one day recently I dropped 3,000 coins in the bank and it vanished from my inventory but did not get added to my guild bank. I checked personal bank and other guild's bank, but yeah just disappeared. It also was not in the log. My friend and guildmaster told me it might've happened because I was depositing items and money too fast. Anyhow I had screenshots with my inventory coin amount and bank coin amount in the same picture (worried my Tempering alloys might vanish). Then afterword pic of the same screen inventory/guildbank list with the vanishing money(ie 3000 less than supposed to be). So I submitted 2 tickets under Missing Crowns and Missing Items. There was no option for the currency Gold. So I picked 2 things closely related.
I was so happy the returned the coin and I got 3,500 back because the system said it was that much that got lost. Weird error.
Related:
Another time I had to contact ESO Customer support and they were super helpful then too. It was when only one of my characters kept failing to log in with some strange error code. They walked me through removing all my addons and moved my characters position to the beginner zone. And got it all fixed for me to continue playing on that character.
Moral:
Anyways the moral of this story is the customer support for Elder Scrolls Online was sooo helpful and really positive and cheerful it makes me love this game even more! If you ever run into some strange bug or anomaly that isn't right never fear to ask for this games great support!

I can't read! I was never taught to read... or write... or type? Don't make fun of me! D=
(Btw, did read the thread. Would put a double LOL if I could.)

Alrighty, then thank you for that double "Lots of Love." I was mad at first because you gave it away blindly. But now that you see are you not happy?
Of the 3+ years I've played this game, I can totally confirm. Zenimax support is on point. They are flexible and actually give a *** about helping you. Every company gaming needs to take some notes from what they do (I'm looking at you Riot Games).
