Your description of the problem is a bit unclear. Selling a Sealed Master Crafting Writ does not affect whether a PC can or will receive another one in a reward container after completing another ordinary Crafting Writ. Also, a PC can have two or more Sealed Master Crafting Writs in the bank and/or in their bags at the same time, regardless of whether they are for identical items. For the 2nd time in a row my blacksmith received a quest for a master writ, both times the game wouldn't let me accept it. Is it a glitch or is there something I'm missing? The very first writ ever received he was able to get, but unable to do so it has gone up for sale. Could that have something to do with it?
Of course, your PC cannot have more than one of the six Blacksmithing Master Writ quests active at the same time. For each one, you must make the item, deliver it to Rollis Hlaalu, and receive the reward for it before you can accept another Blacksmithing Master Writ quest.I've been having a similar problem. I have 6 bs master writs in my inventory, when I try and accept one it says I can't have more than one of the same type as a quest, but I don't have any other master writ quests active.

You can't accept a writ of the same type if you already have one active.
