Will we be able to switch between Morrowind and the base game with ease

So they said we can transfer our characters to Morrowind but will we be able to transfer them back to the base game and so forth? I'd hate to lose some of the friends I've made in Tamriel if I transfer my character.

Yeah, I find this confusing as well. They say "it's an all new chapter". Yeah...that's great and all, but doesn't explain if it's just a new zone, or if we have to load into Vvardenfell separately from the rest of the game, or what else.

BTW, if it is a separate load-in, and not included in the world map, I'm gonna be Super Disappointed™.

I was so looking forward to seeing the Tamriel map completed.

It's no different from going to Wrothgar or Gold Coast.

    It's all the same map.

It's looking to be structured more like Cyrodiil. A few access wayshrines, but silt striders acting as a regional transitus system.

I don't think travel to guildmate has been confirmed as active or deactivated yet.

It's exactly like the rest of the DLC maps. Wayshrines and all. They even showed a few of the wayshrines near vivec city and ald'ruhn in some of the ESO lives

"It's an all new chapter" is meaningless garbage.

I'm really hoping Morrowind is packed with content. I want to see a lot. I will be buying the high tier edition.

There are a few people expecting major changes. Don't. It is just another DLC, but a little larger than Orsinium and with a new class and a 4th form of PvP.

And can everyone stop talking about the size of the landmass? There is a big volcano in the middle that you cannot enter.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

It's just another zone, and if you own the area you get to go to it, if you don't own it you can't travel to it. Like Abah's Watch or Orsinium etc.

I think it's just another zone, that being said is it a new addition to the "main story" and that you can only progress once you've completed it or what? I'd really like to see some more from the main story...because it doesn't feel complete. Even though you defeat Molag Bal in the story, every time you go to a dark anchor he talks a lot of $#!+ when you kill his troops...so obviously he's not dead. It's really my only issue with the game, I want more main story!
Yes, I do heartily repent. I repent I had not done more mischief; and that we did not cut the throats of them that took us, and I am extremely sorry that you aren't hanged as well as we.

Right, and that's basically what I'm getting at. Let's have some more story, he's there and he can come back. I'd also like to see him in a 4-man or a trial.

It's completely separate from the ESO base game main story. No Prophet, and probably no Molag Bal either.

Well, if it is just another set of zones (which I also expect it to be) ZOS kind of made it confusing with the 'transfer your characters' comment, didn't they, because there's no 'transfer' process at all if it's just more zones.

They're using these terms only because it's their largest DLC content yet, so they're hyping it. But in reality it's just going to act the same as Wrothgar does, it's on the main world map, you can enter Vvardenfell from any other zone just by Wayshrine as normal. You'll just need to own Morrowind in order to gain access to the zone, just like any other DLC.

This, it will work just like Wrothgar except you has to use wayshine and probably an ship the first time you visit.
It might be slith riders inside morrowind so you have to go to an port to use wayshrines just like in cyrodil.

It might be restrictions on an new character created in Morrowind but i see this as very unlikely.
If you start an new characer in morrowind you will not get the standard main quest until you start it in Morrowind probably after you done morrowind main quest. This will get you killed :)

Grinding just make you go in circles.

Are you new to games? Like... do you legit think adding a new zone to the map will make it hard to move around?

I honestly don't know how some people survive the real world.

I'm pretty sure it's going to work exactly like the DLC maps and you'll be able to go back and forth between them freely. Anything else would be extremely weird.

I have no idea why they decided to use the word 'transfer' but I think it was just poor wording on that one occasion.
