Does the DW Ruffian work on Magicka abilities or only Stamina?

Hey guys, never played dual wield before but about to make a Magicka Templar. Was wondering if the Ruffian passive only applies to stamina abilities since its a stamina skill line or does it apply to magicka abilities too? Thanks

It only applies when using DW skills. The only DW passive that applies to magicka characters would be twin blade and blunt, and even then only applies when dual-wielding swords.

Thanks for the info, i am just looking at online calculator now. But would Dual Wield expert increase light attacks?

the ruffian only adds the bonus when using Dual Wield abilites, so it doesn't count for magicka users that obviously don't use the skills but just the last passive, and yes the Dual Wield expert would slightly increase the damage of a dual wield light attack for when you weave it for ulti gen.
