Sabre cat armor

It looks bad, zos. Not sure who's idea it was to slap gaudy fools-gold colored armor (which, btw, none of the dyes in the game can match) on a mount like this. If anything it should have been leather and fur.

Please make it so disabling showing mount upgrades removes the armor =/

    I agree. It is terrible. Would have been better even in a steel, bronze, or black... was the diffinitive reason why I passed on it. I hope the collecters edition Dwemer Horse isn't the same tragic mistake.

    I agree.
    I think it was supposed to be Dwemer metal, but they got the color a bit too bright and gold-ish. I actually bought the sabre cat mount, but barely use it because there aren't many situations where it looks good. It would have looked SO MUCH BETTER in iron gray or leather.

    yeah, I totally dislike that we cannot hide the armor, that right there should have been mandatory....

    personally i enjoy it, and you can't really complain considering they SAID in a post that you can't hide its armor and that the armor is a permanent visual due to it being unique for the mount lol.

    Reason why I didn't bought it.
    And I'm a huge fan of big cats.
    Same for the deer.
    Did Zos fired someone on the design team and they don't know how to make mount armor optional anymore?

    Edit: well the deer was also because of the pricing. I ended up buying the Dro'Mathra senche and would have considered it if the execution of the mount was as good.

    This put me off too. I liked the cat itself and it was a good price for a special mount, but the gaudy armour just made the mount as a whole look silly.

    If we could have hidden it or dyed it or if it was another colour (steel/silver for example) it would have been a great mount, but not with the gold.

    Ok yeah that I'd definitely buy.

    I was just thinking the other day I could do with another non-horse mount so my main characters can have 1 each and that would be perfect.

    Yea that's definitely a better look, wish I hadn't bought the stupid gold one now.

    I still think the fur color is too dark though, needs to be more white.

    I actually like the grey fur rather than pure white. I agree the gold armor doesn't quite fit though.

    Grey is fine, it's just too dark, a lot of the detail gets lost

    I have the doom wolf, and I *mostly* like him, but every time I see him, I wish they'd done the eyes better. It looks like the skeleton mounts will have those same eyes.
