This bug (apparently introduced with the Jester Festival) was already mentioned in this thread, without any acknowledgement from ZOS.

Symptoms : whenever you open a reward box from the Thieves' Guild (covetous countess, etc...) you see the laundered items, but once you've retrieved them, they disappear from your inventory.

Other relevant info :
- It doesn't happen all the time
- It can happen with white items as well as with green items
- It can happen or not happen, without any indication of interfering factors
- It can happen on any character, anytime
- It can happen with addons, with addons disabled, or with addons completely deleted.

It is EXTREMELY frustrating.

    This has been happening to me lately too. Same thing, taking items from the large laundered shipment from the Covetous Countess quest. Interestingly, I did not lose the motifs. I've submitted a bug report, haven't received the confirmation yet.
