So the game has been live for 3 years now

I have enjoyed this game for 3 years now. I was lucky enough to be a beta tester, and I loved that flawed buggy version of the game then and I love it now. I wish there was some sort of event or memento for being here for the whole time.

Except for about two weeks during the first year I have been here since early beta. The two weeks was because my bank issued new cards because they had been hacked, and there were issues getting the ZOS Account page to take my payment.

Anyway, it would be nice to get an anniversary momento or pet or costumer. Now, we have not reached the official launch anniversary as of yet, IIRC, we have just reached the Early Access anniversary. Which would be the same as launch really. But, it gives hope that maybe a shiny would show up next week.

I love this game too. Got it in May 2014 and since then I have only bought three other games which made me take (very short) vacations from ESO, only to come back to it again.
Its like that old girlfriend you got in a holding pattern that you just can't let go of because she's so good.

I tried to get into the beta. IIRC it said I needed 29gb, so I cleared about 33 to be sure and halfway downloading, I apparently didn't have room (no I wasn't downloading other stuff/using the internet during). Doubt my laptop could've handled it anyway, didn't pick up the game until just before 1T.

I unfortunately wasn't involved in the beta, but I did get this game just shortly after it was released in April 2014 (within the first week of release or so, IIRC). In fact, I bought the Imperial Edition and have been playing as my Imperial Nightblade ever since.

Well, I took ten months off after Tamriel Unlimited because I wasn't too thrilled with the changes B2P brought, but I've still got a solid 2+ years in game.

Which is my way of saying, "Gosh, I hope you don't have to actually have 3 years played to get any anniversary thingie they may come up with."

But seems Zos has forgot "Loyalty Rewards" for us long timers.
SO, yes, would be nice to see a 3 year anniversary reward, perk, atta boy, something for those who have been here from the beginning.
But I still love this game!

Feb 2014 for me, so my 3 year mark was a few weeks ago. I have all the loyalty rewards, and the monkey, but Firor sounded pretty firm about not doing them anymore.

Speaking of playing since launch, how many are still playing the first character made at launch?

I missed beta, but purchased ESO during prelaunch three years ago. It's been a fine source of entertainment ever since.

For those of us in the Beta, we got a monkey, but I don't think there's any way to tell who's been playing continuously since then.

I know I haven't. And if it's based on subscription, I'm sure that would cut a lot of people out who were actually playing.

Yep three years, off and on, my forum name still has my beta creds in it. My main will finally make 50 when I get back from vacation.

I have been playing with the same character I created on the first day of early access. I only have one other character which I used as a mule before crafting bag.

I joined the beta in February 2014 so I have the monkey.

I did take a year off from the game and returned for 1T.

Funny thing is that I am only at around CP230 on the one character. I get distracted and roam around a lot. I did not even reach vet levels till after 1T. I am the opposite of the people who power level. LOL

Yeah if I remember correctly, precise was better pre-1Tam. It wasn't until the changes to the traits compounded with the increase in mob resistances did Sharpened become as powerful as it is today.

I've been playing since Beta, and subbed the entire time. Doing the single parent thing, so after the kids go to bed, I play ESO. I'm stuck at home anyways, might as well be having fun.
