You couldn't marry in Oblivion. The best you got was an ugly Nord servant for your Skingrad mansion.1 -

✭One a more serious note: Gates to Oblivion. Real gates, that would spawn Daedra that could turn into a real problem if left unchecked, e.g. they would take out local areas, NPC, towns and even cities. You leave them long enough they could theoretically destroy an entire zone.
It would be nice to have some sort of large-scale event (that occurred rarely enough to elicit excitement when it did happen) to bring the player population together to work for a common goal. What better way than to have fiery portals from oblivion opening up.
I guess this is what I was hoping dolmen would be, but alas they didn't live up to expectation.If you can be anything, be kind.2 -

✭✭quite frankly, as i said in your other thread, the elder scrolls doesn't have any desirable features that aren't done better in other games
so i'll suggest (and this is a suggestion for the franchise as a whole) having meaningful characters and choices, like in dragon age
and when i say meaningful, it stretches further than just "they have a personality and backstory", i want to be able to involve myself with that character, for it to be more than just "here is my reason of living now go do a quest for me"

Yeah, I've got to second this. I wouldn't mind an overhaul to exactly how they worked, but attributes help me feel out who a character is far better than the resource pool system from Skyrim and ESO.0 -
