You can't adapt to lag. If your resources deplete instantly that means the server lagged and you were desynced.
It haha to me all the time. Just minding my business waiting for a wall to come down, resources drop, still at full health, then fall over dead with 5 Snipes on my recap.
My connection fine but can you honestly tell me you never been hit by snipe and die before the ability actually hit you. If you say no your lying I haven never meet a player who haven't had this happen to them.You realize that kinda impossible right. You can not adapt to lag especially when it comes to snipe.A lot of players learn how to dodge/Block hard hitting abilities thanks to sound effects every ability have. Its impossible to do that with snipe because the Sound effects plays after you are inflicted with damage,thanks to lag. You can't not adapt to a ability you can't hear and see.This happens whenever you get hit from stealth. Adapt and overcome.

Bows at a long distance and when fired correctly are lethal. Rule of thumb is dont go afk, dont go around unbuffed, and dont run behind a wall before you start casting heals, reflect, absorb, shield, etc.
They can't be bothered to read, but they sure love to type.
When I complained here about the invisible people bug, half of the responses I got were from people telling me to learn how to deal with cloaked enemies.

I can hear everything in PvP with these on, I've heard a incoming snipe hit my body on my MagSorc and immediately I dismounted myself and CC broke/Shielded up.
I recommend this headset, it's absolutely a must for PvP.
Yep, it's stupid. I wish they would get rid of the huge travel arc and just speed up the projectile. People can fire three before one even hits the target at long distance. It's also incredibly stupid that you can launch a snipe and then a gap closer and have both land at the same time... Such garbage design.

I wasn't comparing to curse, fury, dbos, only mentioning that I have the same thing happen with that combo. The situation where I see my resources drop and I'm running around waiting to die then suddenly all those things animate on my dead body, is absolutely because of lag. Being instantly blown up before I can respond isn't because of lag, but the health desync and resource loss is.
Not being able to respond to any combo because the game lagged and the skills did not animate for you to react is not unique for any skill. Simply because you can burst people with curse, fury, dbos doesn't mean that someone did not lag or experience a health desync and die for no apparent reason. I experience it all the time even without snipe, you will be dualing someone and suddenly they just fall over, or your own resource regen stops with no poison proc or explanation. Soon you are sliding around on the ground.
I think you will find most of us bow users have no issue with seeing snipe go the way of the do-do.

But snipe isnt the same with other abilities. The travel time is too damn long and it causes 3-4 snipes to hit at the same time. If someone is hardcasting frags at me i wont get hit by 4 of them at the same time. And the fact that snipe has a ridiculous range makes it even worse. In any case, you cant deny that snipe is a very toxic ability. Its about time to change it to something more skillful. Like i said scrubs abusing it will whine for a bit but they'll get over it when they find the next easy mode ability to spam.

OP is asking for a FIX to a broken ability that causes lag which prevents us from countering it in anyway. Why are there people telling him to adapt or accusing him of whining for nerf?
