Quests & Zones
Craglorn
The puzzle in Tombs of Na-Totambu can now be completed.
Note: You no longer need multiple players to complete the puzzle.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Really, the Tombs of Na-Totambu quest was moved to Craglorn from Alik'r Desert? That is a major change. Or was that a typo? :-)

No, @NewBlacksmurf, the broken puzzle was in the Alik'r public dungeon, the Tombs of Na-Totambu. And, in fact, the discussion in the first link you cited was for this aforementioned group event. The group event used to require two players to stand in pairs upon a set of tiles. ZOS changed it so that individuals could fire the event by allowing them to stand on these tiles in sequence. But that change was broken on the Xbox. The latest patch fixed whatever the problem was. Now an individual can activate the event, and win the skill point and achievement if capable.

Are we talking about (old group delve) The Tombs of the Na-Totambu

    OR

Are you talking about the (regular delve) Lost City of The Na-Totambu

Hi, @NewBlacksmurf, I am referring to the public dungeon, Lost City of The Na-Totambu. It is not a regular delve. In that dungeon you will find a so-called group event which awards a skill point upon successful completion. It used to require two players to complete as there is a puzzle with paired tiles. In the past, the requirement was for each player to step upon the same tile type in a particular order (e.g., player one and two step upon the scorpion tiles, then the pair moves onto the other tiles, spiders and scarabs). The Homestead update broke that puzzle on the Xbox so neither solo nor grouped players could complete the puzzle.

ZOS removed the two-player requirement with the Homestead update, so strictly speaking it is no longer a group event. Not so good for those who believe group events should require group play. But great for solo players who would sally forth but were stymied by the puzzle's partner requirement. If memory serves, none of the other public dungeons had the pairing requirement for their group events. The update intended to resolve that inconsistency, but the implementation was broken. At least it was on the Xbox.

Anyway, if you happened to be in a pick-up-group that was not mic'd, choreographing the steps required to solve the puzzle was most painful. So now with the latest patch to Xbox, solo players can complete the puzzle and win the skill point without having a partner.

Gotcha...just got home and logged in....

the Craglorn solo delve (not to be confused with a Craglorn group delves) "Tombs of the Na-Totambu" has no changes

Alik'rs public dungeon is "Lost City of the Na-Totambu" and that the puzzle so it seems there a mistake in the patch notes from Gina.

Sadly.....none of the pedestals seem to interact with me so who knows if it was changed or just broken now
