Poured 1000s of hours into it and Skyrim and was here with ESO as soon as it dropped on PS4. Left for a while but came back at the start of the year and I am loving it
I know Morrowind was on the original XBox, but I had left gaming for a few years (burned out). When I returned, I bought an XBox 360. As I perused the library, I saw very few games with 5 star ratings, but two frequently showed up: Oblivion and Fallout 3.
Surely, people wouldn't rate a game 5 stars if it were crap, right? I downloaded both. They're both now regarded as my favorite games I've ever played. Thanks, reviewers!
I was still playing Oblivion when Skyrim was released. I decided to play this game called "Fallout 3" after Oblivion, and had played this game so much, the price of Skyrim came down. After I melted my Fallout 3 disk for playing it so much, I finally broke down and bought Skyrim. The price had already dropped, and I managed to pick up the collector's edition for $30, which included the book and plastic Alduin statue (which sits proudly on my shelf to this day).
About a month ago, someone had mentioned Oblivion had become part of the XB1-360 catalog. I guess it had been added without much fanfare. It's now installed on my console. One of these days, I'll play it again, but right now, ESO is sucking my soul from my body.
