The Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind
I got Morrowind on the Xbox on a whim, loved the leveling system. The expansion is actually what caused me to come back to ESO after trying it for a few days when I got bored with WoW. I quit playing WoW a few months back, and wanted to play something more action oriented. I saw Morrowind was coming soon, so I figured I'd come back to see how I liked it. It is now my only sub, after playing GW2 and getting tired of the PvP focus, this is my main game.

I hope the expansion doesn't kill my fond memories of my beginnings.

The Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind
I bought Morrowind randomly for xbox shortly after it was released, as I was always looking for a good RPG. I played it for about an hour one day, and could not for the life of me figure out what the heck to do, so I went back to counterstrike and Halo. Haha

Then a few months later, I crashed myself pretty good on a snowboard and was laid up for a few weeks. I decided to give it another go. I don't know if it was the pain killers or abundance of free time, but after a few hours the second time around, I was hooked. Since then, I have put hundreds of hours each into Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, and god only knows how many into TESO, which was also my first MMO. I refuse to type /played for fear of the results.

Back in 07 I had just bought an xbox 360 and I was at wally world looking through the games that were on clearance. Oblivion goty edition was there for 10 bucks so I bought it. I knew nothing about it or the elder scrolls series at all. My first character was a wood elf archer and I had no idea what I was doing but I loved the game and played the hell out of it. Then I plated morrowind next and of course skyrim as soon as it came out. I was hesitant to play eso as it had meh reviews and it was required a sub. So I didn't get it until august of 15. And I have been hooked ever since.

First I played TES III Morrowind then I tried out TES I Arena... but it was not working good on my "too modern" PC xD
Then I tried TES II. And when TES IV Oblivion came out - I played it a lot. And after that TES V skyrim.

The character I played through was a redguard, as the Adrenaline Rush greater power was quite useful for the melee character I was playing at the time. It got me out of several tricky situations. As a new player to the series, those were quite common. Not only that, combat in that game would punish you heavily if you didn't know what you were doing. You would often miss at point-blank range and take heavy hits to your health while fighting something as simple as a Skeever.

It's also where I developed my intense hatred of cliff racers.

It's actually Daggerfall BUT I didn't know it was Elder Scrolls as I was too young so it was just a game to me then, Oblivion was my official "introduction" into the series. Still the best one, then Morrowind then Skyrim ( Skyrim as a game was visually beautiful and I loved the dragons, dual wield spellcasting. I wasn't a massive fan of the viking theme though ).

What can I say I am an Imperial

Was this first one I played I think I got the game for 20$ got home and was so confused on how to play felt very awkward for me. Never played a game like it before the swords didn't feel like they hit anything the aiming felt so off and the graphics where terrible even for that time. I fell in love with the game and played it for years

I know Morrowind was on the original XBox, but I had left gaming for a few years (burned out). When I returned, I bought an XBox 360. As I perused the library, I saw very few games with 5 star ratings, but two frequently showed up: Oblivion and Fallout 3.

Surely, people wouldn't rate a game 5 stars if it were crap, right? I downloaded both. They're both now regarded as my favorite games I've ever played. Thanks, reviewers!

I was still playing Oblivion when Skyrim was released. I decided to play this game called "Fallout 3" after Oblivion, and had played this game so much, the price of Skyrim came down. After I melted my Fallout 3 disk for playing it so much, I finally broke down and bought Skyrim. The price had already dropped, and I managed to pick up the collector's edition for $30, which included the book and plastic Alduin statue (which sits proudly on my shelf to this day).

About a month ago, someone had mentioned Oblivion had become part of the XB1-360 catalog. I guess it had been added without much fanfare. It's now installed on my console. One of these days, I'll play it again, but right now, ESO is sucking my soul from my body.

The only, the amazing... Morrowind, till this day I remember my equipment setup, missions, creating addons. Morrowind and... Gothic are the games that always will have special place in my heart... This titles are not only some games, they are memories, are part of amazing adventure. My only wish would be to forget stories they tell, so I could discover them once again...

I wanted to get into TES with Morrowind, but my PoS PC at the time would not run the game at anything like reasonable performance levels. But I saw the depth of the lore and world then.

But it was Skyrim that had me fall in love with the setting..

I discovered Skyrim in 2011 when it first came out for PS3. Played it and literally invested more hours into Skyrim than any other game ever. I had already played fallout 3 before Skyrim but I just fell in love with Skyrim a lot harder. Then I decided to check out the other installments. And ended up loving oblivion also. I tried to play morrowwind on my Xbox 360 by borrowing a friends copy but it just kept lagging and freezing so I sadly never got past making my character in morrowwind. And now here I am invested hundreds of hours in eso lol

I started pretty late. And I didn't even give skyrim a fair chance untill a few years after its release. I think my first serious playtrough (the first time I didn't use the cheat commands to teleport to the room with all items in game and take the best stuff. And then actuvating godmode and go on a rampage in Whiterun) was during 2014.

But once I gave it a real chance I really loved the game (and I also fell in love with the khajiit thanks to J'zargo)

Daggerfall was very much a 'flawed masterpiece', sadly the bugs made it at times a trial to play rather than fun but it remains one of the few ancient 320x200 games I still play from time to time; I even have a 17" CRT still operational for playing old DOS games that haven't been re-worked.
