Which Of the games in the series got you into the elder scrolls? Were you the Eternal Champion who helped get rid of Jagar Tharn? or maybe you were the one who Saved the Imperial City During the Oblivion Crisis? Or event the Dragonborn himself? What Game was it that started you playing and what was you favourite part about it? I miss my house in Cheydinhal to this day!!

Daggerfall was the first game I played, but I have played all of them, including Battlespire, the first TES Multiplayer (although MP was not available when I got around to playing it)
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I started with Arena, but Daggerfall is what hooked me on the series, my least favorite was Skyrim, it was so canned and homogenized that it changed the TESO community into more or less the Skylanders community.

luckily that demographic seems to spend more time on the ESO forums than in the game itself.

Mine was Oblivion which was one of my first RPGs other than Star Wars The Old Republic and I didn't quite grasp the concept. So in Oblivion I made it out of the sewers and into the Arena District, became Grand Champion or whatever and couldn't figure out how to go any further so I quit(Like a ***, go ahead flame me I deserve it). When Skyrim came out I was a little smarter and I dropped 1000's of hours into that game and have been absolutely hooked.

I went back to play Arena but my DOS emulator would consistently crash my computer. Never made it out of the prison... :(
This same thing stopped me from attempting Daggerfall, but I really did want to try it.
That being said, Morrowind is still no 1 for me in pretty much all aspects except melee combat which is a bit umm....
And Tamriel rebuilt slingshots morrowind past any single player rpg I've EVER played.
The combined landmass is just ......I'll just say it has the potential of making the morrowind expansion look pathetic. So I hope the DEVs kept that in mind and really made the expansion incredible.

Oblivion! It had a lot of flaws, but I loved it... the music, hthe dungeons, the Thieves Guild quest... I remember jumping off all kinds of places to level my athletics skill, I never knew if I would survive the fall. And the Shivering Isles was brilliant. I later played Morrowind and Oblivion but did not enjoy them as much.

I had Morrowind on Xbox but didn't get on with it and traded it in.

I tried Oblivion on 360 a few years later and really enjoyed the game, later picking it up on PC to play again. I never finished it though as I always got lost doing other stuff (that wizard tower was my first goal every time).

Skyrim was the first one I beat and still the steam game I have the most hours invest in. When I saw ESO announced I thought I would come play and honestly it has given me most of what I wanted. I have learnt so much new lore from playing as well and when I went back to Skyrim it was nice to enjoy the game with a wider knowledge of the world.

I first discovered TES with Morrowind on the Xbox. That game, along with Knights of the Old Republic and Halo, are what convinced me that console gaming had finally "grown up" and what got me back into console gaming. I do most of my gaming on PC these days, but I still play with my Xbox-style controller that I fell in love with back then. Hard to believe that the control scheme of using one analog stick to move and one to look was actually pretty revolutionary around the turn of the century.

Same for me, started with Arena but got really hooked by Daggerfall. I share a love/hate relationship with Skyrim, I love it due to the setting (Nord are my favorite race and my first caracter is always a Nord) but hate how much it was dumbed down in terms of real decisions with consequences and overall gameplay.

Moved from Diablo II and Baldur's Gate II to Oblivion in 2007. Migrated to Skyrim in 2014 and to ESO in 2016. My requirements are an open-world medieval fantasy RPG and though I don't feel particular loyalty to Elder Scrolls it fits my requirements pretty well so far.

ESO is my first MP game and I considered it a drawback. The extra large beautiful world and what I consider to be solid combat mechanics help make up for strangers bunny hopping and frantically running all over my world. Lol.

Finished Morrowind about 4 times. The first time I played the vanilla one. For the next playthroughts I downloaded and tried new mods for better gameplay experience (textures, hair styles, houses and so on).

The same I did for Oblivion and Skyrim.

I stumbled upon Morrowind by accident. I bought an original Xbox for Halo:CE & Fable, when Fable flopped and Molyneux's "Go anywhere, no invisible walls," lies were realized(love Fable series btw) I kept reading people talk about this sandbox rpg called Morrowind on Lionhead's forums, intirgued, I bought it and there went three years of my life lol. Six completions, Expansions included, thousands of hours.

Then back in 2005-2006 when Oblivion was announced, I was ecstatic, went out and bought an Xbox 360 and Oblivion the day it released :)

Skyrim was another monster, So many hours lost to Elder Scrolls games :s

Technically I played Daggerfall first, but it was only briefly round a friends house so I can't claim it was the game that got me into the series.

I'm not sure how I missed Arena and mostly missed Daggerfall because I was playing every other RPG I could get my hands on, but somehow I didn't get into the series until Morrowind came out and my friend was telling me how great it was.

Daggerfall was my first. Loved the open world feel (back then) of the game. It was a living-breathing D&D experience. I did a lot of the older games too, like Ultima, Might and Magic, and a plethora of dungeon crawlers and MUDs, but Daggerfall really felt like a lot of time and energy was created in the lore, which was a huge deal for me.

I played Arena, but not until after Daggerfall.

Dragon Quest. I'm here because my college years were spent hunting for metal king slimes.

One day in 2014, my SO suggested trying Skyrim, because it also had plenty of exploring, crafting, and skill-based character customization. And that's how I turned into an elf-loving milkdrinker. We picked up ESO in December that year, during a sale.

We still play both. I work on a Skyrim mod during my spare time and we're hoping to put it through beta in the summer (sorry Vivec lol). We play a bit of ESO when both of us are free.

Morrowind was my first TES. I was trying to get Oblivion but my computer at that time couldn't run it, so I got the previous game...

After Morrowind, everything I had previously played became dull and simplistic, and some other games after Morrowind too.
