Tired of this AH filtering/searching option.

AH need better filtering/searching option. Master Merchant addon find items, but it doesnt lead you directly to item. Dealing with AH kills my joy of playing the game. Worst problem is that there "Search by title", like seriously...[SNIp] Second missing thing is: "Order price per item". These 2 inputs would greatly boost the joy of using AH.

Yes, this how it should look, but it seems not working well. I wrote "rub" into search field and gives me 0 items. I am looking for rubedite ingot, but when I go manually I see tons of these items.

Prolly LUA is limited for addon creators and this why all these addons aint working so well. It seems you first have to manually look up items by category (addon this way fill parse items into memory) and then you can filter out items you are looking for. It is better than nothing, but it feel really skeptical. Every time you get 0 results you feel like- is there really no items or addon is just doing it wrong.

Awsome guild store filters out what you don't want. You should have the option to auto-advance pages when nothing is displayed selected.
When using the addon you need to select categories to pre-filter your results before using the search feature.

Most problems people have with addons are expecting too much. The games UI prevents the addon from being as good as it could be. But, then again the features in this addon should be the default for the guild store in the game.

I recommend Tamriel Trade Center, for the prices. I contribute to the database a lot, trying to scan a dozen guild sellers each week (I've reached the 40k items limit quite a few times).

As for the Awesome add-on. The filter works. It filters the objects of the pages, and not directly the search you make.

If you are looking for rubedite ingot and that they are none in the page you are on, it will display you "0 items found". But click on "Go to next page", and you'll eventually find the rubedite ingots.

Yes, I figured out that somewhat like that it works. Still the workflow feels so so bad. It is just so stupid, that such an simple thing has been made so frustrating (not the addon, but the game). Addon are limited by LUA. Best AH addons prolly are same powerful and work somewhat same way, so there prolly aint better addons than Master Merchant and Awesome Guild Store etc.

It is just so stupid, that when in some other game you just write partial item name into AH field and you get everything that has phrase in item name.
Here you first have to find guild, then you either get addon or browse guild store pages manually. Then you let addon parse pages and once the addon has return you the information you still can"t be sure that information that has given to you is correct.

And not only AH has bad UX design, also forum has (cant login into forum with game account, cant create forum account without inv code). On this April game will be 3 years old, yet they can't fix such elementary things. I mean they have prolly fixed a lot of things, but still having an "title" field in AH is like first thing you add when you design a AH search options.

Best example for the incompetence of the guild store ui developers is the missing filter when looking for armor/weapons since the last patch. How such a major bug can go unnoticed by the devs and QA is beyond me..unless it's intended and they're a bunch of sociopaths who just want their contribution to the game to be as annoying as possible!?

btw..did they indeed fix it? I'm on PS4, so I still have to wait a couple of hours...

Awesome Guildstore can be tricky to use in the start, if you are not used to it.

start with:

• choose the tab "MATERIALS" then under that go choose "BLACKSMITHING" tab

look at left side:

• write "rub" in the correct section
• choose type of item "materials"
• if it is marked to search by quality, removed that
• if it is marked to search for "raw materials" and "improvement materials" remove those as well

This way you find rubedite ingots very fast.
