bonus 2-4 bsw is better..
5 set bonus: When you have more then 50% uptime of bsw it is better then julianos...

Like said before, it is always better than julianos IF 50% or more uptime.
If not, you'd better go with julianos... know that it is not to hard to get 50% or more as like al magicka classes use fire staff on main bar for competitive DPS..

Beyond that:
Julianos = +3% Spell Crit vs BSW.
BSW = effective +230 Spell Damage vs Julianos. (+600 Dmg 8 of 12 seconds = +400 Dmg) (+129 Damage item bonus) for a total of +529 dmg vs Jul's 299

Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS0 -

GilGalad✭✭✭✭✭With fire blockade and Force pulse you will have BSW uptimes of 60-64%. Its way better than Julianos, especially when you only run it on one bar (e.g 5 piece Moondancer Backbar), since you keep the buff once its active.
If you play a pet Sorc in trials Necropotence is an option too, but BSW is still very decent with a pet.1 -
