What a ridiculous thread. Stamplar is hands down one of the most powerful classes in PvP, just requires a bit more finesse to get the most out of it. Has incredible tools both offensively and defensively. Im getting so sick of these threads by people about how their class is too weak and unplayable or other classes are broken op. Game is very balanced right now and every class can be really good. Yall need to learn to play.

I partially agree.
Comparatively the stamplar is by far out classed by our classes. Our class passive are mediocre, with only a few actually being beneficial to help out.
My only true complaint is, we for a fact have sustain issues. Repentance is a nice ability don't get me wrong, but when it comes to longer boss fights or duels against other similarly skilled players we have nothing besides our natural Regen to sustain us.
Yes the sustain is bad, but this is a function of balance. Stamplar damage potential is too high and the defenses too good for them to be able to naturally sustain as well as the other 3 classes. This prompts you to run medium armor or cost reduction/regen glyphs which balances the build out. If Stamplar could run heavy armor the way a DK, Sorc, or NB does it would be straight up broken.

Sure, not every passive is super relevant but the ones that do apply are extremely strong. You have to also consider that what stamplar lacks in passives it makes up for by way of having some of the most powerful active skills around. Jabs, power of the light, extended ritual, restoring focus. 4 of the best skills in the game on their own merits, especially on a stamina spec. And each one is buffed by the passives. Jabs procs burning light, the house gives mending on both skills, and potl gives ulti per cast. So I disagree that the passives are mediocre. Also 4% cost reduction across the board and 6% weapon damage is nice.

For real. #1 trials player on ps4 gets #1 every week on stam templar. Stam templar is an awesome class, it's awesomely tanky, I do my vet dailies in med armour, 11.4k hp, while healing the group af tanking half the time. Stam temp is dmg mitigation master.
Stam temp is only behind stam dk in single target dps. It has nothing on mag sorc burst aoe but its sustained aoe is way good. Stam temp is made whole by some passives most people don't understand and a very odd incredibly complex rotation that would make most mag dk's quit the game. It's a phenominal class and I have fun with it.
Off point, after 10hrs farming vma on my stamplar I got lucky and got sharp vma bow. I'm parsing 38k with spriggans and 31k with tbs on 3m hp dummy all solo. My frontbar vma dw isn't sharp so having to use sriggans is gimping me atm. But the build is beast.
If you know stamplar builds then it goes without saying it's a portable heal tank with high sustained aoe dps.

Vet dailies with 11.4k health as a heal/tank?
