It is a nice build but all the armor pieces uses prismatic glyphs!... Seriously, I am really on the edge and I need advice because those prismatic runes are extremely difficult to get and there is no way I am getting that much for one build. Any alternatives or easy ways to farm those runes?

Just dump points into health attributes then space our ur glyphs to get what stats match his shouldnt be too difficult.

Or do it the other way around get all health glyphs then change attributes to where it matches deltias

It doesn't need those glyphs, to farm it go grind sewers it's 5k telvar each.

It basically gives u 1 star free, if you went 2 prismatic as opposed to 1 health 1 Stam, you get the magicka free.

Dk tank doesn't 100% need max magicka, ebon is over rated.. 1k health for your group is sweet but it does limit you as a tank.

30k health 20k Stam, magicka doesn't matter but magicka regen does, run orzorga health and mag regen and you will be unkillable. 1500 mag regen is sweet.

I am using the 4 man tank build which uses histbark. But i will go 64 health attribute, armor enchant into stam/mag and maybe if i have prismatic glyphs I will put it into the infused big pieces.

2 bloodspawn
5 hist bark
5 akaviri dragon guard

All health enchants on all sturdy pieces
All points in Stam
2 block cost glyph 1 mag regen
Atronach mundus

Tho I don't use vigor and just use dragon blood to heal, healer gives a heal over time

For pledges I run:
2 grothdarr
5 hist bark
5 trinimac valor

Tri stat glyphs are the best way to maximize total resources. If you don't want to use them, you can get your stats with attributes and normal glyphs, but you will have to make some sacrifices. All your resource pools will be a little lower. This is true of any tank build. You have 3 choices: farm the gold, farm the tel var, or accept you won't have an optimal build without a little bit of work. You could farm the tel var or the gold needed in an evening or two at most.

Op is new, at least to the forums, give them a break and spare the stupid comments. Deltia is great for helping newer players.

@OP deltia usually has a BiS (best in slot) gear choice and then an alternative. The prismatic runes are probably for end game gear. He usually states some basic craftable sets that are easier to come by. Shoot for those then work your way up.

35k tel var is like 4 bosses with a 2x multiplier. If you get scared after each one just port to your other campaign and travel back in after banking it. Kuta are dirty cheap. Or if you have a stam nightblade just onslaught gank a few people and you're done.

For real. Ive seen some of his build/ rotation videos and just think to myself: wtf? Y? Hes a good player tho, and I give him props for alternate build ideas.

Alcast is good too tho. Hes got some useful statsheets I use to plan my builds our and balance their stats.

You really need to know where your penetration/crit/crit multipliers are comming from. Stacking weapon damage is only the cherry on top.

Should you use leviathan? Spriggans? Automaton? Nmg? Twice born?

If you're a stamblade khajiit with all sharp weapons/kra'gh automaton+thief or leviathan+shadow may out perform in some situations. Got a tank running alkosh and another dps in nmg? Automaton might work better. Maelstrom weapons in inperfect traits? you might get better dps from spriggans half the time.

Got to know what you're doing. Most people don't though, so I really can't flame deltia for helping out.

People need to realize not every person that comes here has the same skill level or knowledge of an experienced player. That said I shall reiterate my previous post. @deltia is great for getting a grasp on things, learning mechanics and overall a great person to learn from. @alcast is also great, his builds are more focused on end game and not the training wheel mentality.

Stop shunning players or being negative because they may be seeking a foundation to grow upon or looking for advice on certain play styles.

Prismatic glyphs are cheap these days. If you want a cheap easy to use tank build go 5 pc hist 5 pc beekeeper or footman 2 tanky monster sets

I like armor master set for tank. Engine guardian also helps. IMO tanks are easier to build on your own than other classes. Just depends on what type of tank you want to play.

As many have said, you can farm the sewers you only need 45k telvar for the Prismatics on everything.

Don't farm on a empty server, you have more chance of being ganked, go on a busy server as all you need to do is avoid the Zerg....

They're hard to screw up. Jewelry into magica recover, magica leaching 1h enhant, high ass hp with hp regen. There's even ploxy sets for that. Then suddenly WIN AT TAMRIAL!

There are of course other setups but yeh, it's hard to fail here.

I think Deltia is making builds to suit all play style, from BIS to crafted gear so there will be a build you can do without farming vma etc. I was watching one of his videos doing vma with crafted gear, no procs or bis stuff.

1) I see no issue at all to get prismatic glyphs. They are easily farmed in the IC sewers or can be bought for a few k in every guild shop.

2) You don't need to have all pieces enchanted with prismatic glyphs, if you aren't a tank in a progress trial group, who wants to max out everything (and has a second tank there which comes along with Ebon for 1k more health, because you might lack some health with just prismatic glyphs). I play all my magicka chars (signature) as tanks in 4-man-instances, by just switching gear in Dressing Room (usually I play them as DD) and I use just prismatic on the "big" pieces, where you get applied the full bonus (chest, legs, head, shields). For the rest I use simple health glyphs. Enchanting just the "big" slots by prismatic glyphs is sufficient for all 4-man-content resource wise.

I like Deltia's idea of using SPC besides Swarm Mother and Tavas, but to get the weapons and the shields is by lightyears more difficult as getting prismatic glyphs btw. In addition SPC is mostly worn by healers anyways. I am going conform to use Swarm Mother and Tavas so (I use them myself + Ebon Armory, Alkosh instead of Tavas is even better, but getting appropriate Alkosh shields and weapons is a major issue in this game...). Swarm Mother is incredible usefull for gathering adds and burn down trash fast. In single target boss fights, you might change Swarm Mother for Bloodspawn for even more ultireg. Those + Soul Harvest + Heroic Slash = enormous ultireg and to get as much ultireg as possible is the main concern for every PvE tank (warhorns, warhorns, warhorns -> more dps, dps, dps).

I am going to be more "beginner" friendly on my website very soon. Working hard on adding new content

When in doubt, put all points into stamina.

You can always get more health from enchants. This also gives you the option to freely switch to a dps build.

I've tanked everything in the game except a vet trail with my dunmer dk in trainee and pelinals, endurance sword and shield on the front, inferno staff on the back bar. I've also been told by I think everyone in the game I am an idiot for doing so. At least I'm an idiot who's having fun.

You can literally farm that tel var in 30 minutes.

And if you are worried about cost you should not look for bis builds.

Yeah tava is nice, but I hate having 2 set bonus' I have 0 benefit from, Stam regen from tava and bloodspawn on a permablock tank.

I also don't want to be too buffed as a tank especially with Stam so casting shuffle is expensive.

If you could use armor master with tava and a monster I definitely would do that.

Comes down to preference, I'm looking at using mighty chudan as well and saving 2 skill slots.
