Recommend another mmo until Morrowind?

I'm loyal to ESO, but at 600+ cp it's not much to do the next months until Morrowind arrives, so is there any other mmo out there with similar quality as ESO in terms of general aestethics, good graphics, a good third person view, detailed character customization, and good storylines?

I enjoyed Tera and GW2. But more from the action combat aspect of things. I cannt think of any that have the look and the story of ESO. Could try BLack desert it is fairly new havent tried it much but it has the action combat vibe as well.

As you can tell i might not have the best advice for you since i seem to be interested in something you didnt even mention :)

Zelda is too cartoonish, it looks like. And I'm on pc.

Enjoyed GW2, but still too cartoonish :)

Black Desert is a grind, I've read.

Had expected a new proper DLC from ESO before Morrowind, but that is not going to happen, so nice to have a game which is just as rich, intriguing and captivating. Not some half-measure mmo.

I tried Black Desert with a free 7 day trial and I was not impressed. It felt very much like any other Korean free to play game I've tried previously...lots of grind, NPCs with weird animations and voices, combat that's feels like more flash than substance. Not my cup of tea.

Tera and Guild Wars 2 feel very generic to me...I guess I've been spoiled by the rich lore of TES.

Personally I've been playing more Skyrim again and modding Skyrim SE for my friend Larz so The Rift is a spring forest and Whiterun is a spring/summer grassland.

I go back to FF14 regularly now, mainly due to the ongoing reliability and performance issues in ESO, but since going back I've realised that FF14 is in many ways a far 'better' game. This is a subjective term of course, but when I compare design of dungeons or content variety, there's no comparison in my view.

I know it isn't an MMO, but Horizon Zero Dawn is so beautiful and well done.

EQ2 and LoTRO are similarly detailed and full of stuff to do in massive gameworlds.
