ZOS said at one time this was something they wanted to do. But, the last time I heard anything was more than a year ago.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

If they were to add single skill respec it should be at a higher cost. Other than that, it's really not needed. Morph respec handles fine tuning builds.

I don't really think a higher cost to respec a single Skill is the right answer IMO.

    As it stands right now:
A full Skill respec cost say... 6000 Gold.
A Skill Morph respec costs around 2500 Gold.

That's with just the current system.

Keeping with that, if they just add in a Single Skill Respec option, one Skill should cost 500-1000 Gold at max IMO.

But to be fully honest, I rather like the idea (as I mentioned earlier) of having a flat fee of 3000 Gold like the CP tree does, you can move as many/few Skill points as you desire, then you're charged the 3000 when you set the changes.

But if they add in just a single skill respec option, I think having it as the next tier lower cost as I've described above would be perfectly fair.

Its one of the few real gold sinks in the game.
You shouldn't be re-spec'ing that often anyways.

I have 305 skill points completely spent. A complete respect to switch a skill is a GIANT pain in the ass.

Even just a morph, I have to undo ALL my morphs.

I'd even be happy if they kept the cost the same and did the same a Champion points, where you change the ones you want, rather than me spending twenty minutes going through everything.

Yes--and I don't see a need to tie compensation for the respecs I've done in the past to this change. I made changes that were worth it to me at the time and have enjoyed the benefits of those changes at a time when single skill changes were unavailable. It's partly the cost and partly how cumbersome it would be to start from scratch if you have a lot of points. I'd be willing to pay a little more per point changed than we do now, although I wouldn't want total cost to be higher for folks making major changes, e.g. stam to magicka or vice versa. The game itself changes and priorities change in the course of leveling a character. I'd love to be able to shift a few points to meet higher priority needs without it costing a prohibitive amount.

For me crafting points are substantially more volatile than combat points. I'm OK with needing to choose between crafting and combat when making allocations, but it's frustrating that I'd need to do a full respec to recoup points allocated to obtaining runes when those were scarce.

It is not like it is too expensive or something. It is just annoying as hell...
When for example you want to re-roll from stamina to magicka build, you reset skills and put skill points that prevoisly were in "dual Wiled" into destro staff etc.

But... the 95% of skill points you put exactly were they ware before (crafting, guilds, world etc). It is so stupid to reset 250 skill points and put 30 points different and the rest 220 you spend AGAIN on the same passives and skills.. :#

    Agree entirely.

Yes. For me the most appealing aspect of this would be the ability to experiment with skill morphs without resetting all of them.

Exactly right, today alone I would have respecd several times if I could do 1 at a time.
