Skill respec Additional Option

Would you like an additional option added in to the Skill Respec Shrines, to only reset and respec One (1) Skill at a time?

IMO, It would greatly help in fine-tuning builds, and I don't think it would be too difficult to add in the additional choice.

This would be extremely useful for me.

Sure it's not always necessary but sometimes I do want to change around only certain skills or lines and it's annoying to have to pay for all my skill points, even the ones I'm going to put right back where they were, and to have to put them back where they were before.

I would love it if skill respecs worked like CP respecs. Pay a flat rate and only respec the skills that you actually want to change.

I like this more than the OP honeslty BUT I'd not like a flat cost as that bugs me on CP changes, it needs to have a min cost like 100 gold for CP and skills and a max at 3k for CP and skills to remain consistent.

It's annoying having to reallocate all of skill points when I just need to reallocate a single one.

Or better yet, refund everyone for how many full respecs they had on the account, and just convert the full respec option into just separate tree spec respecs.

I would do other things with my main characters like PvP, tanking, etc. if it was easier to respec. I hate having to go to a shrine , remorph 20+ skills, and then also redo bar setups all because I wanted to play a little differently.


I have no issues with the cost of respecing, but they need to make it less tedious.

You shouldn't be re-spec'ing that often anyways.

I'd like to be able to respect directly from the UI, rather than being required to visit a shrine. As we are able to do with CP.

So many times i am speed respecing and do 1 morph wrong which is easy. Occasionally ive bought a whole skill i didnt want to.

It is not like it is too expensive or something. It is just annoying as hell...
When for example you want to re-roll from stamina to magicka build, you reset skills and put skill points that prevoisly were in "dual Wiled" into destro staff etc.

But... the 95% of skill points you put exactly were they ware before (crafting, guilds, world etc). It is so stupid to reset 250 skill points and put 30 points different and the rest 220 you spend AGAIN on the same passives and skills..

small gold fee to respec a skill(s) = massive gold sink that equates or more than "once(maybe twice/thrice-in-ESO-lifetime" whole skill respec for that crafting skill aren't necessary on that character/account.

I would also like the ability to respec all Skills, leaving Passives alone.

And to respec all Passives, leaving Skills alone.

I really don't care about the gold cost. My characters are old and relatively rich. I care about having to remember every damned passive that I happen to have used and remembering to click them all as many times as necessary (sometimes up to 10 times) to ensure that I keep the correct rank of my crafting abilities.

I'd be happy to pay the full cost every time as long as my points stayed put and could be moved, like how the Champion Point respec system works.

I would like to have the points back for two skills I purchased that I won't use. But to get them back I have to reset all of my skill points. And that will be a pain.

Wow, there's a lot of good input here.

I agree with most all of you. I think paying a flat fee, then while the Skill Points "stay" on Skills, you can add/remove them and move them around individually (like the CP respec system), and then you're charged the Gold once you're done moving Skill points (and yes, this does include Morphs).

I made the poll because it just seems silly to me to have to fully reallocate 250+ Skill points when I only need to move around one or two points maximum, ever.

The CP-similar Skill point respec option seems to be the best option I've seen yet.

Don't know how many times Ive went to respec and Ill get about half way through and accidentally drop a needed skill point and an unneeded skill. This would be awesome!

The already have a gold price set for a complete respec which, from my understanding, is based off how many skill points you have. They could use this model to get a base value per one skill point and add like a convience fee for individual respec points, something like 100 gold more than the normal value so when you do a full respec you still end up with some what of a deal and if you want to do a individual one you still have that option.

This is an awesome idea and suggestion!

The CP point system does it, it would only make since for the skill point system to do it as well IMO.
