Healing Ward (Morph of Steadfast Ward)

As most of you know a Sorc (not talking about pet builds sorc's) need Healing Ward it's their main heal, but me and my friend we don't get something and this has been in ESO for a looooooong time now. My friend has 24K health I have 21K health and when I use Healing Ward 6-7 out of 10 times my friend get's the ward on him. HOW???! He has 24K I have 21K. Can you change Ward Ally as a healing ward you can put on yourself and allies and have Healing Ward to put on you and only you no one else but you?. No one uses the Ward Ally so might aswell make it a ability that people can use. I just hate it being low on health and another person get's my ward, not that I don't want to heal other people but if you have 5-10+ enemies on you. You do want that healing ward for the small heal and the large shield but when it goes on someone else people just rip your shields apart with that many people on you.

Change Steadfast Ward Morph's
Healing Ward Morph - Healing + Damage shield on you when you cast it.
Ward Ally Morph - Healing + Damage shield on you and/or allies when you cast it.

Let's talk about it people, tell me what you think or if you have another idea that is better then mine.
(This is not only for Sorc's, Dk's who use Healing Ward, Nb's who use Healing Ward. Templar has BoL so they good with healing)

I use healing Ward, and mutagen. It's pretty OP lol

You have strange methods of sorcerer...ing....

Surge is the only heal i use. If it gets me flawless in vma, it can get you through anything.

By all means... play how you enjoy it... but if i could suggest this...
use surge
instead of healing ward... use the sorcerer hardened/empowered ward.

It probably works on percentage of health left. You probably have lower max health as your friend. Just an example: He might have 30k max health, with 24k left and you might have 23k max health, with 21k left. So in fact, he has a lower percentage of his max health than you do, and therefore he gets the heal. Just thinking out loud here...

Surge is a sorcs best heal, no question. To the OPs point, ward is highly useful in PVP as part of a shield stack rotation. In heavy combat, good chance ward aint going to you.

I meant, as long as one of the morphs retains healing wards current functionality so you don't screw the hell out of all the NB and DK healers I suppose this is fine. However I don't see why you don't just use a personal shield.

Most sorcs run Healing Ward in PvP, which is what the OP is talking about.

Not using healing ward on full health always use it at low health 20-50% health

Don't use mutagen. My resto bar looks like this: magelight (not to get ganked), streak/ball of lightning, healing ward, harness magicka, hardened ward.

I don't PvE so I don't care about Vmsa lol PvP you rather want surge on a overload bar and healing ward on resto healing ward is the main heal/shield once you get to 20% it's almost as strong as the Barrier shield (from PvP skill line)

Agree I don't mind healing allies but not when I am 10-30% health I would put healing ward on people at 50-70% as I have my main shields up

I main a Sorc and NEVER use healing ward. Just don't need it. Rarely do I need to shield stack, and if I do, it's either Barrier + Hardened or Harness Magicka + Hardened. The heals from Surge are plenty for pretty much everything.

Barrier is an ulti tho I rather use DBoS/Meteor/Atro/Destro as my ultis for PvP

Yesterday DC tried to bomb me and 2 other friends non of my friends we're at low health or even half and I had around 1K health left and I guess there was a other person around who had less then me I was like who the f*** needs a healing ward more then me lol. But they should make the other morph more useful to pick that one as a healing ward for a fellow AD/DC/EP player. besides that no one uses the other morph either..

During combat shield every 5 seconds or when it's low, out of combat magelight for gankers, during stealth harness magicka up every 5 seconds as it doesn't take you out of stealth.

Yes it should prioritize caster. Possibly if caster's remaining health is less than 20% it will always effect the caster.

Healing ward for me (sorc) is my panic button... I almost never use it unless my Hardened ward ends up getting burned down or I am getting lazy and forget to re-pop my now expired hardened ward. Then it is scramble to the healing ward... but yes for a sorc build you can almost get away with using surge as the only heal... but I do prefer to leave Healing Ward as that panic button... The only time that I have had the healing ward jump to another person is if I am within a certain distance of them... like super close...otherwise it always pops on my character.

Healing Ward radius is 28 meters I agree surge is a good heal and power buuf nice combo too healing ward at low health and surge full health and still have a big shield on
