Inklings✭✭✭✭✭This is scary to have this problem on such a large scale for 3 days now. Either they didnt want to have to bother with it over the weekend or its out of their control and it wont be fixed anytime soon. A problem on this scale needs more then a "we are looking into it" 3 days after the fact.1 -

Freeman✭✭✭When I get Error 200 I just let it sit at the login screen until the Announcements appear and then I can log in. Usually doesn't take terribly long. I just read forums/Reddit/Tamriel Foundry while I wait and it's not a huge deal0 -

If you can't get announcement and can't login.
You can open your browser and open the link https://live-services.elderscrollsonline.com/announcement/marketing
If it succeed in reaching the server, it will get a XML string like '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>'.
If there isn't other problem, You will see the announcements in launcher.
You can open the game and login now.

Shrinkwrap✭✭✭I'm trying to log in after patch, and get to the screen before the character screen and nothing. The worm keeps spinning and eventually times out with an error 300 due to inactivity. I've tried this five times now.2 -

I had a similar problem where the patch error was about how some other file, maybe the game itself, was getting in the way of a patch. I rebooted and it came out fine. But NOW I can't get back into the game. The login goes as far as the precharacter screen and spins and spins...1
