Hello there I been trying to change my account's name. I log into my account click change account name, am told to put in the last name of my favorite author to verify I am me, and then am told that answer is not correct. Logging into the game I submitted a ticket with the problem (170303-002399) and was contacted by Betty who asked me the error message. Logging back into the account I tried to change the username again received the same error message. I added it to the ticket. I received a response from Brian. Brian asked me to tell him the answer to the secret question so I could help... I am unsure if Brian is a Bot as the whole issue is the secret question is not working.

@ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom could you please help?

    Turns out all I had to do is not put in the last name and was able to put in the full name.

    I am pleased to know that I am in fact still me and still know who my favorite author is. I am still curious if Brian is a Bot and what ever happened to Betty? Is Betty now Brian, will the next person be Billy, Bruce, Bob, Bo, Beatrice, and Brenda? I still request these answers.

    I noticed that @ZOS_GinaBruno posted in another thread. So naturally I thought I would bump this one up least it be forgotten. Sure part one is solved, but that was only the prelude to what happened to Betty... though now that I think of it Bruno. You are one of them. :o

    Brian is not a bot. Although he will be amused to hear you thought so. :)
    Support may ask for a security answer as a method of security to verify that you are the owner of your account. Although the answer is private it alone should not be enough information to compromise you.

    Support will never ask for anything that can give them access to your account or payment information -- such as any passwords for your login or your full credit card number. They will also never send you an email with a link to "confirm password or login". This is always something you can do yourself on the ACCOUNT page or must be requested by you. If you see anything like this, suspect a bot trying to get you to submit your information.

    Hi @ZOS_CoriJ ,

    That is the whole point. Yes I understand needing to supply a security answer would work, unless the issue is the security answer not working. It is the literal: X is not working. Then being told to do X and than help will be provided in solving X.
