Where is the "keep my signed in" box?!?

Alright, so don't tell my boss, but I'm totally on the forums at work.

Lots of times I'm in an out of my browser.. and as of this morning I need to sign back in every single time - the "keep me signed in box" is completely missing.

Please say this is a bug and will be fixed. I love that box...

I figured it was a bit different because I'm not getting the signed out for inactivity thing.. plus the "keep me signed in" is totally gone. I understood previously it was there at least - just didn't do anything

I had to sign out to check, but @MissBizz, you are correct. The keep signed in option is gone when I log into the forums. But, it seems to still keep me signed in anyway. I closed my browser and then came back and I was still logged in.

I am getting logged out of the forums and that used to never happen unless I rebooted my laptop. Even keeping them open I am still being logged out.

Also... Forums work totally fine on my phone.

I posted about having to log in every time earlier, and only afterwards realised it was because the "Keep me signed in" box had disappeared. I don't get logged out just by leaving the forum, but closing the browser means I have to log in next time I open the browser and visit the forum.

Forums work fine on both my desktop and phone. It's likely not the website but your browser Settings. You need it to save passwords and NOT clear cache after closing down.

I haven't changed any browser settings to cause this, and it's happening with two different browsers, and on two different machines.

I actually saw the "Keep me signed in" message at one time this week, but there was no box to tick next to the message.Since then the message has disappeared altogether.

@AlMcFly No, saving my password is only going to make it *slightly* faster to sign in... it won't actually keep me signed in at all.

Just tried resetting my chrome browser settings as well (even though I hadn't changed anything)... just tried it and if I close my browser I come back to being not signed in...

Digressing, that reminds me of one of my favourite moments in another MMO when someone had obviously pressed a mapped key by mistake and lost his compass from the screen. He called out "How do I get my compass back?" and a wag quickly replied "Pay the ransom!" !

I have elderscrollsonline.com bookmarked and I then navigate to the forums and I don't get booted. I wonder if it's a cookie that doesn't exist anymore if you load straight into the forum page.

You aren't viewing the site In Cognito right? Are you on a company server that doesn't allow cached data?

You aren't viewing the site In Cognito right? Are you on a company server that doesn't allow cached data?

Nope, never do. Small small tiny company. Literally nothing is blocked, and I'm absolutely positive nothing has changed in our system in the past week.

Hmmm. Well it would have cleared my browser cookies when I reset, so went to the main website, clicked on forums, logged in.. close browser. Go back.. signed out.

I've been running into this too, and I'm at home where no one else has access to the computer.

I close it quite a few times a day. I just did to test it actually and it opened right up.

Yep happens on Chrome on my phone. (Not allowed to access anything to do with gaming on work computer. But apparently Fb fine....go figure).

Usually stay logged and rarely get kicked. But happening quite a few times over last few days. Please sort!
