My opinion is (1) they are not bots if they are playing the game for themselves and not RMT'ing; as in working for an illegitimate company for the purpose of selling gold to players for irl cash. (2) they are not going to get on my nerves unless they appear at every dolmen in the game in massive numbers to make dolmens unplayable.

I rarely ever see dolmens. I almost never look at the exact same dolmen twice.

When I do come across one I've never done, I run in to get my hits for the completion, then I leave. I don't pay much attention to who else is hanging out there.

Its no more annoying than the 50 to 100 player Zerg in Alikir. I ignore them if I am grinding in that zone. I think the only other zone I see it in with regularity is Auridon.

If ZOS would alter the dolmen respawn timer in those two zones, this would cease to be an issue.

These guys don't bother me nearly as much as the Nuke Groups going from Dolmen to Dolmen nonstop. But I'm not angry per se. Dolmens, in Alik'r at least, are basically ruined now. There is exactly zero fun in doing them with 30 other people. However, there's plenty of other things to do and plenty of other places with Dolmens if that's what I'm after.

It's a nuisance, and I wish something would be done about the whole situation, but I'll confess that I can't think of a solution that wouldn't be kind of terrible.

Seems like every time I go to a dolmen, especially the one near town on glenumbra or auridon, there are more bots there just shooting endlessly at the boss spot. The fact they're doing it for hours is irritating because I know they aren't sitting there ATK watching that for the length of time they are there.

So I've heard that dolmens aren't nearly as much experience as just doing quests, they're making a lot more experience than I am when I have other things to do besides play the game and they're just botting the experience, which is against ToS.

Though, lots of games have bots running rampant. I can say it is refreshing to not see the gold spamming in zone chat every 3 seconds like happens in other games. Though it can be funny to watch them try to outdo each other in the spamming part once in a while.

I was at a dolmen yesterday, and I think someone else was trying to figure out if I was a bot or not. LOL! I was waiting for the dolmen to fire up so I could do my daily Fighter's Guild quest, so I parked my character onto a safe spot and let her stand there. Then I took my hands off the computer to eat a snack, so she was motionless for a couple minutes.

The other player started dancing his character up and down in front of me like he was trying to get my attention. I finally moved my character in a very non-bot way just to get him to leave me alone.

While I do not agree with botting at all, it does not bother me because I gave up on doing dolmens it is to counter productive in the popular areas to gain any decent amount of exp, dolmens just needs a change in general if you ask me.

Lots of botting behaviors or rubber banding gameplay is back.....all platforms but I don't like it but it doesn't upset me. I do report players from time to time tho on xbox

I dont care what others are doing unless it directly messes my game up. I would hate if they changed the dolmen spawn times. When I want to farm jewelry I want to be as efficient as possible, and knowing which order they spawn accomplishes this. So if people want to stand there and light/ heavy attack nonstop, so be it.

Someone has to really try to mess with me before they even remotely annoy me.

ZOS bans for this , they just have an ounce of professionalism . I personally got a 3 day so I can say from experience they don't play around if your actually caught. I'm an evil rubberbander on console. Also kick babies

Bugs the hell out of me because it's already hard enough to see through the clouds of legit players who show up when you're trying to hit something.

Had a dolmen last night in Greenshade where a couple people had let the big bad boss spawn and lured it into a pack of bots that were only throwing light attacks. Killed them all. Justice was served :P

I sometimes play at off times. Last night at 3am, I did the Mudcrab Beach (Stormhaven) world boss solo. It was so nice! Yes, a level 6 did come along at some point and join in, but both me and the giant mudcrab basically ignored him.

If people want to stand around and do nothing, that's their own problem (and I'd wager they don't consider it one). Quite often when I'm running to a dolmen, the monsters just won't be visible to me. They can kill me, or others, and others can kill them, but I get no such luxury. Fortunately I just spam AOEs so I'm not standing around like a lemon, but I could believe some have the same situation with them not being visible.

Just to be clear: we are talking about the two, roughly centre, AFKing (doing nothing) and not the group of idiots to the left just heavy attacking (botting, rubber banding), yes? I'm getting mixed views from other comments.

One player had a summoned merchant and actually brought the summoned merchant into a dolmen fight with him. As if it wasn't confusing enough with the legitimate players there.

If the dolmen is crowded, I just aim for the red bars. That works to target monsters, at least.

The only pet I'll bring into a dolmen fight is a nixad, because it's small enough that it doesn't obstruct anyone's view.
