Housing guest book

Back in Myst Online: Uru Live, everyone who visited your neighborhood (guild) showed up on a recent visitors list on one imager (display screen), and residents of the neighborhood could transfer a photo or note to the other imager, which would cycle through the last dozen or so. Hugely valuable for social groups or training guilds. Pop in and see what was on the news, and people'd often be hanging around there to go do what little group content there was in the game.

I'd like to see one guest book that listed every name & time who entered, and a second journal for people with furniture editing rights to write short messages in. Stretch goal: Upload from our screenshots folder, which are rendered as low-res black & white sketches (you'd still get some *** pics, but there's already plenty of written *** in non-public chat, so who cares?)

And they could add an achievement based on how many people sign your guest book.

it would also make crafting for guild mates easier if you could leave notes at a notice board style item in their home if its used for a guildbase.

Also put an automatic entry when someone turns out any of your lights. Would make it easier to find out who not to let in your house!

or a lighting sprite or butler that can turn them all on or off for you with a single click

while some of these could be craftables, i would not be shocked to see a housing assistant in the future with a number of these kinds of functions visitor tracking, message/mail taking, lights...

I remember how magickal it was back when you could copy paste code to add a guest book to your Geocities or Fortunecity website back in the mid 90's.

Awesome idea OP!

My home is open to all of my guild friends and it would be nice to see how many came by to check it out .

It maybe humble...but it's still my ESO home

Plus it would be nice to be able to figure out who keeps turning my lights off...I know who it is...just need concrete proof



Guess that's what I get for allowing a coworker access to my ESO home. Never trust a real life locksmith...who can't pick locks in ESO
