I have serveral maxed chars in everything and know many motifs, while I do get master writs I'm finding lack of voucher value... disturbing. The highest one I've completed value was a huge 5 points. :| I don't understand am I holding mouth wrong? Do I have to pray to sithis? While everyone else around me linking in chat they have high ass values and selling for 320k plus...WTF zos?

I've done every crafting dailie since the update on pc and I got 121 vouchers. 96 came from ONE blacksmith master writ, the rest was just 2-7 vouches strong. I haven't researched everything and haven't learned every style. But I don't think these few traits/motifs left will suddenly let my voucher amount explode.

I've stopped wasting my time to get those. I play the game the way i would have played had there been no update. I have a few housing places that are just gathering dust, including one furnished room i bought. Not much changed for my game with this update, nothing new that's interesting. It could have been, but.... not.

Wait: i did notice that the horses are more lively in the character select screen, that was nice for a subtle improvement. So there's that.

I only do writs on 2 characters that know very little motifs. I receive atleast 1 master writ every day with lowest value being 5 vouchers. People talk about these 2 voucher alchemy writs but all mine are 6 vouchers.

Voucher RNG is ridiculous. I've been doing them since the update (PC) and only got 1 writ so far for 47 vouchers.
My friends all got dozens of them in the same time.

Maybe the drop rate is designed to be counterintuitive: less your character knows = higher chance to get master writ with more vouchers. There also might be a slight bug in the code causing this.

On one character who knows all traits, enchantingl, almost all motifs etc. I'm getting only 2 voucher enchanting writs and not many of them. While one a second character (knows around half of traits, motifs etc.), I've received more master writs and giving more vouchers.

Who knows, it may be also a RNG God toying with us. We are but marionettes in a theatre called life...

Highest I got was a 36 vouchers worth writ, for a Prismatic Onslaught legendary glyph.

I consider myself lucky though, I only did daily writs 2 times since Homestead dropped :D

I seriously suspect its not just an impression, receiving more writs on characters with less knowledge. Many ppl shared this with me, as I experience it too. Here are some numbers.
Each second day I do 118 crafting writs with 10 characters, all the the highest level(9x6 writs and 1x5 writs). All of them know all old one book motifs and mercenary(6 know imperial too), 3 know ALL the motifs until Homestead, 3 more know at least Glass, Xyvkin and Dwemer and some other on various number of pages. EIGHT of these 10 chars have NINE traits on everything. All the chars know all the runes and all alchemy reagents traits.

Two very unpretty things happen. First, my best crafters(they have harvesting achi and refining achi too if they count) do not recieve and even recieve less writs than the other, less skilled characters. And second, as I've received quite a bit of master writs, like one for each 12-13 normal writs, but number of voulchers is so underwhelming, totalling 40-50 each two days.
I've received two good writs so far, one 90 and one 130 vouchers.
I simply cannot imagine how a player without a such large pool of really well developed chars would receive.

And really disheartening - one guy yesterday, who I know he started to bother with writs since homestead and generally cba with crafting, got a 320 vouchers writ, ONE. Thats the reward for my large time investment, not to speak gold investment.

I'm deeply disappointed how it goes so far. It really feels unfair.

I have feeling there in ZOS exists one very untalented person, who screws all the calculations. I had an "impressive" RNG event, force locking chest at 80% chance, which failed 5 times in a row. Thats 1:3300 chance to happen. Yet, I've never recieved a specific sharpened BSW weapon, which has 5 times bigger chances to happen. For me, its either totally borked or just plain crooked, the RNG.

P.S. I also got 36 vouchers writ for prismatic gold glyph. Its best bang for the money. BUT the numbers arent right. Gold glyph writ nets 7 vouchers, while adding 5K more investment, makes it 5 times more valuable.

Dear ZOS, your numbers are far off. Reconsider increasing the low vouchers writs(INSTEAD OF NERFING THE HIGH NUMBER ONES. At least not much).

P.P.S. And one thing to improve - make an IC writs more desireable. I'm really not going to take take the harrasment making 5 vouchers writ there. For now, I just store them(got 5 so far) on one char, but frankly, Im more keen just to delete or give them away, instead of wasting my time completing them. I dont like to tag ZOS staff, but this suggestion worths your time, @ZOS_GinaBruno.

I did a master writ for a Nirnhoned (rarest trait stone in game) Murkoldan (9trait DLC set) Shield, Epic quality and all I got was 20 vouchers??? Add in the fact that it took doing writs every day for a week on 3 master crafters just to get 2 master writs, for a total of 22 vouchers.
Is it really any wonder why so many people have already stopped playing this game? ZOS, are you intentionally trying to slap 9-trait crafters in the face?

My first one was to make 8 Psijic Ambrosia and I got 10 vouchers. I thaught that was good till I was telling some of the guild and they seem to think that should have been more worth like 100+

Then I got one to make an epic superb prismatic onslaught and got 12 vouchers for it.

I'm starting to think these are just not worth bothering with?

Ambrosia one is one of the worst, 20K base investment for 10 vouchers. At least if it required not 8, but only 4 drinks to be made, then it might be OK.

And something else. Essence writs require 5 sets of ingradients to be used, while poison one just two. But they bring same amount of vouchers. Not a big deal, just makes no sense.

the only cost diff was the addition of one of the cheaper of the two nirncrux.

The "per writ" costs factor a lot more in the net vouchers than the "repeatable" factors like number of traits and such.

    As they should.

had it also been gold/legend it would have jumped to maybe triple digits - maybe 80ish.

Terrible luck here as well. My main is a master level crafter who knows all traits and most of the armor styles. I've gotten 2 master writs so far (one worth 5 and the other 6). I'd like to be able to make my own crafting stations, skelly test dummy, etc. At this rate though, I'll probably just have to buy from another player (sort of ruins the sense of accomplishment). I'm not saying things should be easy, but terrible RNG puts a damper on Housing and on my enthusiasm for this part of the game.

It makes no sense that they would rather say to hell with the originals that stuck around the game and worked our asses off for motifs and traits, and baby the newbies giving them high writs knowing they can't complete it but rather sell it for gold. It really is irritating to say the least... :s

I'm still having this problem. My 9 trait crafter who know a lot of motifs rarely get an writs and the ones i do get are 2-6 vouchers...at this rate it will be months for me to get the ebony motif (300 vouchers). Its extremely disheartening. I don't feel like I'll be missing much when I scale back on this game to play Mass Effect Andromeda

Well people must be getting writs because the price per voucher has dropped into the toilet. So rather than worry about how few writs you are getting from crafting just spend the time going to guild vendors buying them at 1000g per voucher. You probably spend more on mats doing the max crafting quests than the current low value of vouchers/writ in guild stores.

Not to waste time in posting but:

8 Characters, all maxed in Skillpoints in all passives regarding to crafting doing all 6 writs everyday since homestead. My main knows all motif books, knew Ebony 3 days after patch release. 2nd char knows about 80% motifs and 8 trait etc. From 1-8 then all jsut slightly less than the other.

I have yet to get a master writ over 77 vouchers. Have recorded 3 vouchers in my 50-99 category that's it. My alts get more dirt writs than my main and over the course of weeks RNG cant always be blamed especially when it should be weighted with trait research/motifs etc etc.

The highest level voucher I've gotten was 7 vouchers. The blacksmithing, clothing and wood writs I've gotten have had so little value that they aren't worth the waste of my best gold and purple-level materials. I stopped doing them.
