    I pulled down a 245 one the other day. Redistributor, Nirnhoned, Legendary, Nord (I think). I've also had a 54 voucher one asking for one of the sets in the Rift in Akaviri.

    That said, the weighting does feel a bit off. I've got two more redistributor writs, one for Akaviri, one for Dwemer, and combined they clock in at 13.

    I think this is the most disappointing thread I've read in a while.

    Over the past two weeks, I've received a total of 3 writ requests, totaling 6 writs upon completion. When I view the store of what I can buy, I quickly surmised this is one of the most goddamned insulting things to do to players I have ever seen, worse than anything Bungie has done.

    To even begin to acquire the minimum cost amount, at this rate, would require 25 writ requests, for a grand total of 50 writs. The best things in the store are 250... EACH.

    Now, I just don't give a flying damn about the writs save for one thing: getting tempers. When I get a writ request, I just delete it.

    It's not worth my time and it's an insult to logic, especially when I consider the cost to make the request far, far exceeds the return value.

    Most are crap. I have a few 200+ and one 310 that I'm holding onto for giggles.

    You know there is something wrong with Master Writs when as a full Master Crafter in single character:
    - 9/9 traits researched in everything;
    - absolute 100% food/drink recipes known;
    - all alchemy reagents and runes translated and all achievements unlocked;
    - 100% of motifs known (including limited time);
    - 100% crafting achievements earned;
    - 700+ of furniture plans learned;
    you keep getting a Master Writ box once per week just to find out its 6 voucher one,

    ,while people who never bothered with crafting, paid 50k to powerlevel their blacksmithing/woodworking/clothing to 50 and bough other "powerleveling kits" are cashing in 100+ voucher Master Writs one by one.

    At this point I start to believe there is a critical bug in this Master Writ system where being better at crafting actually makes it harder to get Master Writ.

    The whole system is upside down anyway. It was supposed to be "reward master crafters" but all it does now is rewarding "lucky" people.

    The chance to obtain Master Writ box should be a fixed % for everybody. How many Writ Vouchers will be in the reward, this part should be determined by crafting mastery.

    I wouldn't even know what to charge. It's not like I know what the writ has inside it. Doesn't it bind to the account if you open it?

    To be fair, I've only deleted one. That was the one I got yesterday. It wanted a Truly Superb Epic Glyph of Stamina.

    Nope. My Rekutas are worth far more than two vouchers.

    I have had similar experience with the posters in this thread. In that they less knowledgeable crafter gets more Master Writs.

    Although I did get a 256 and 94 (or something like that) pair of Master Writs one day, yes both on the same day. I did the writs, got the Ebony Motif and pretty much stopped doing the Crafting Writs anymore. Note this was during the Anniversary Event, so I was still doing the Crafting Writs for the Boxes and the Master Writ drop rate went back to being Abysmal.

    Although, the impending change to getting purple recipes going from 10 Vouchers to 25 Vouchers has me doing Top Tier Crafting writs sporadically. But I am getting the piddly 2 and 6 Voucher Master Writs.

    However, there is too much RNG in the Master Writ drop rate to really want to do these anymore.

    If you decline the quest it goes into your inventory where you can then see the requirements. But you already knew this since you saw it's requirements. It was unbound. You can place it on a guild vendor for 1k -.1.5k per voucher, at least on PC NA. The vouchers are worth more then the rekutas.

    Since gold is easier to aquire than master writs I purchased either the desired items or writs that were easy for me to complete. I have one maxed out crafter and one that just knows enough to do max writs.i was getting very few writs think I had about 50 vouchers after a month so I gave up and bought all the stuff I wanted. During cake week part deux I started getting big writs mostly for my secondary crafter. Quickly got to 400 vouchers but now there is nothing I want to get.

    Well, I would say "RNG" but we all know ZOS rng is not truly random.

    Not sure what's up. I can have an 80% chance to force a log and actually succeed 8 times out of ten, then turn around and have an 80% chance to pickpocket and fail consistently. (Though this isn't from billions of info points, it's a consistent problem that I feel comfortable referencing) So 80% is somehow, not always 80% for them.

    Same with drops, we have players earning the exact same armor or monster pieces from the same dungeon bosses down the trait matching. It happens consistently, which would be very very rare if it truly was randomly generated for every person. And if divines dropped as much as training or prosperous you wouldn't see as many people asking for tokens all the time either. Show all the charts you want, but if we don't have all the data behind it, it's meaningless (could have different drop rates for end game gear vs. lower level that makes all drops look more evened out, though that's just one example, there are countless ways data can be manipulated).

    My point is, something about drop chances does not seem fair.

    I think that's what pisses players off the most. Not just that we don't always get the best drops the first few times we run for gear, but that we consistently see bad drops more than even average drops, mis-matched sets (staves for stam sets or the like), etc.

    Specifically on vouchers I'd like to add that ZOS should re-examine the "value" of what they offer. Frankly, there are some things that are not worth spending voucher points on, or some vouchers not even worth doing for what they offer. Why waste the gold acquiring a certain trait stone and style stone and the other mats for something that might only give you a few voucher points? So that needs some tweaking as well. You should definitely get more out of putting the work in yourself than if you'd just spent the gold on what you wanted and avoided the work to earn the points yourself.

    @Violynne

    If you don't accept the quest when opening the Crafting Writ Reward Container, the Master Writ gets dropped into Consumables. Then you can look at the writ and see what it wants without activating it.

    As for selling them, figure on 1K to 1.5K per Voucher. So a 6 Voucher Writ, list it for 6K to 9K. I tend to discount the ones that want Perfect Roe or Tri Glyphs down to about 800 a Voucher.

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    The drop rate is well and true garbage. I'm all for RNG, but it's a special kind of punishing.

    Four max level crafters running writs every day since Homestead and I've had 10. They're as rare as tempers in the mail.

    Dude i love these damn writs, i just got one worth 81 vouchers, asked about selling it and this person immediately offers me 91k for it. I went from 13k in the bank to 114k in just ten minutes.

    I think i found my new career.

    Never seen one more than 74 - nirnhoned, legendary, required a visit to IC. I'm not sure how much more I'd have needed to do to get one of these 200+ writs.

    Though I haven't seen any for a few days now.

    Thanks for the tip. I got one yesterday I could never complete (for a shield), so I deleted it. I usually "Accept All" when the writ box is opened, so I'll have to pay more attention rather than speed through them all.

    At least I got 3 more grand repair kits out of it. I wish they all came with one. I am wearing 7 pieces of armor, after all.
