Being back as in guards and npcs have it but I highly doubt it'll be obtainable or craftabe since they already have a glass armor style for ESO.

Xivkyn is daedric armor that is styled to be used by molag bal's elite

I think the head is tilted back in the pic so the spikes don't look as spiky as they might actually be, waiting to see it in game, colors is nothing a wee bit of dye cannot fix.

Seriously think about it. Crowns price for glass motif 5k. They will not change the existing glass armor motif or change it.

What point do you attempt to prove by bringing up xivkyn? There is only 1 style xivkyn, not two. The sooner you people take off your nostalgia glasses and come to a realization, the better.

I do not think it glowed. Just the color of the green glass crystals were bright.

They will add it, if only to make us grind for Motif chapters at a later date. The question is whether or not it will be available at initial release, or added later.

I'm pretty sure the point is that they have done variations of armor types in the past. Xivkyn is a second type of daedric armor. So a Buoyant Armiger style motif is certainly not out of the question.

I would however like to see some improvements to this armor... I have to agree it looks like glazed rubber right now. The one in Morrowind had more detail and more crystal-like malachite spikes, perhaps they will adjust this new one before its released.

Xivkyn is daedric armor molag bal's elite use, normal style daedric is regular daedric armor. Current glass is high elven style glass (read lore book for reference), this glass is dunmeric glass. If 2 types of daedric armor can exist then 2 types of glass can exist

While ESIII-Morrowind glass armor looked pretty decent, I liked some of the glass armor mods in Skyrim, too ... but I doubt any of these ideas would make it before Morrowind release.

Thanks for the info, this may be brought to the player base but knowing zos it'll cost or require a helluva grind like the current glass motif.

It looks like the textures are not fully loaded in that screenshot from ESO: Morrowind. If you watch the video, it takes a long time for the textures to load, but they finally do.

I can see you are not a fan of morrowind from your signature but for us people who enjoyed morrowind this expansion is a godsend... its called tamriel unlimited, so all of tamriel must eventually be unlocked so what better time then morrowind's anniversity?

The build they were playing on still had a lot of placeholder graphics -- Rich didn't even show us the siltstrider live, because he said it wasn't appearing properly on that client. He had to show us a screenshot, instead.

I wouldn't be surprised if the textures we're seeing in this screenshot aren't final just yet.

Morrowind was about as far from McDonalds as you can get.

The clothing you could enchant and wear under armor you could enchant with the jewelry you could enchant with the alchemy you could do? Nothing bland and cookie-cutter about it.

Yes, they needed to have the animation of your enemy dodging when you could NOT POSSIBLY MISS instead of your weapon simply going through them. But honestly, I'd rather have some of the Morrowind ideas back. It really isn't right that you can join the Mages' Guild and never have to cast a spell or use magic, but somehow manage to become the Archmage. Morrowind you had to have certain stats to do certain things, including getting promoted when you joined a House.

Not a big fan of the curly shoulder pads or the rubber texture as others have said.

The helm's design is good, gloves look good, chest could also do some rework.

Dunmer have a thing about the sloping flaring pauldrons. [read the motif book for Pact style gear to find out what the Nord writing it thinks of the dunmer's love for the pauldrons] If you want to see over the top, look at the Her Hands armor from Tribunal. http://en.uesp.net/wiki/File:TR-armor-Her_Hand's_Female.jpg Vivec's Armigers were never as bad as Almalexia's Hands.
