I can verify that it is not, in fact, shorts weather at this time. Unless you're a Nord.
Whether or not it will be for PAX East, well, the forecast is currently calling for 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celcius) and snow.

@rhapsodious - here's the website - luckyslounge.com/. And yes, it's kind of on a corner over on Congress St. It's about a 2 block walk away from the convention center.

@calia1120 Yeah, thought it was! I used to work a couple of blocks away. We went there for lunch a few times. Truffle fries. Drool. Bit pricey but definitely not too extravagant. Sorry, I get excited when someone mentions a place and I'm like "I KNOW THAT PLACE I ACTUALLY KNOW WHERE THAT IS!"
