The cost will drop. It's already 2-2.5k on PC(altho there are some more stubborn still trying to get 5k)

I'm surprised it dropped so much though alot of people aren't getting them as much anymore, only seems the same individuals getting them every day for some odd reason, i just think its rigged or something.
I have been doing writs since pc launch and haven't gotten a single master writ in the past 13 days on 8 crafters, one of which knows all motifs besides 2, and about 15-20 more traits left to research.
So doing 36 writs a day for the past 13 days and nothing to show for it, rigged imo lol.

This I agree with. Seen no difference in master crafter drops and alts. Same with guildies.

Yet, I have been doing them for 13 days, 36 writs a day on 8 chars... and its "Not Rigged' really?

It's only been two days for me on the PS4, but so far my experience with Master Writs dropping has been as expected. I have two characters who can craft max level writs -- one who is my Master Crafter with 9 traits unlocked and about 90% of the motifs learned and the other which has only basic motifs learned and almost no traits.
Out of twelve writs each turned in over the past two days, my alt got no Master Writs and my Master Crafter got five...two 6, one 7, one 2, and a 50.
Now watch I don't get another Master Writ drop on my main for the next six months...lol Still, it's odd to me some PC players are getting Writs off of low-achievement characters and not getting any on their Master Crafters. It should be the other way around!
I have no idea how you folks can handle that high cost of living playing, on console.

Haha that's how it goes. My master crafter is about like yours on traits and motifs learned. Got an 80, a 50, four or five 2's the first 5 days. Haven't seen a writ drop in over a week now.
