    Wall sections Interior and Exterior so it is possible to break spaces up without blowing half your limit.

    The Nord Divider is enormous and covers about half the length of a room, may want to look into one of those. And its solid brown so it kinda looks like a wall.

    One thing I have noticed is that a lot of the plants you see in the world are either not available for purchase, or only included in some of the housing crown store packs. It would be nice if the home furnishing vendor in each zone actually sold flora associated with that zone.

    Other than that, things like Armour Rack, the ability to place gear / inventory items in a house to better mimic clutter found in pre-existing houses.

    Though most important, Guild Halls. The pseudo guild halls you can have right now have one extremely important flaw, only the owner of the house can place stuff (decorators are only able to move things around), plus of course the guild has very little security to protect a potential collective investment if the guild hall owner decides to up and leave.

    Weapons and Armour! I really hope this is coming (and since there isn't a single silly weapon or armour part in the whole furniture list, I think you saved it up for a bigger show... At least I hope so).

    Water would be lovely. Not only for pools, but also for basins and tubs and troughs.
    There is an item labled "trough, filled" which is actually filled with air...

    Smoke would be lovely as well, effects in general.

    Being able to read lorebooks even through furniture is also on my wishlist, because books placed in bookshelves are actually inside the object as well and thus unreadable if you don't make it peek out a little bit.

    Not sure if this is in the game, but so far I didn't see an anvil without a crafting station attached. I would love to be able to have a forge without having to buy crafting stations...

    Moar tools!

    EDIT: That SHIP home mentioned above... This is something we also came up with in our guild. Ship home would be super awesome.

    I want the pets to move around and the ability to pet them.
    I want to be able to have NPC's like already mentioned bartender.
    Sleep in beds! And maybe if you go to sleep in your home before you log off for the day you get a very small XP increase the next day for 1h or so (like 5%?), which can only be done once a day to avoid exploiting it. Then I have a reason to actually going to my house every night before i log.

    Also, whilst not exactly a furnishings, I would LOVE the ability to resize items. I'm actually fairly shocked this wasn't part of Homestead at release.

    Increase of the furniture LIMIT. You can't even build anything large or create a lush forest type garden without blowing about 80% of your limit which leaves you with a new structure and no possibility to furnish it properly.
    Also increase the amounts of pets n rides that can be placed inside a home.

    Actual fireplaces in a range of sizes/designs.

    Pet beds. This would be an object you place down and then place your pet on top of. Once this is done your pet would do an animation of curling up to sleep, waking now and again to stretch and change position. Obviously, this item would be for dogs and smaller pets.

    Canopy beds your character can actually get into. This has been mentioned multiple times and continues to be ignored but why on earth would you want furniture you cannot sit or lie on? So far the only bed with a canopy you can get on that I know of is the canopied Dark Elf bed. The rest you cannot use. These all need to be redesigned by simply raising the canopy so that characters can fit underneath it.

    Would be nice to have an option to research by Category, instead of random drops for said furniture.
    Had it not been for previous achieves, I wouldnt have been able to deck out my small home as I did, creating a "hidden loft".

    I had to "cheat" with the basic blocks in order to present the illusion of a floor made of Stone, when in reality it was wooden, just to save item count.
    All in all, it still turned out really well, but there are so many options that are missing...
    1. Another tier/rank for decorator that allows for non-owners to "put away" and "retrieve" items (a "put away" item still resides in the home and is counted, but isnt visible "in" the home until placed)
    2. Option to "Group/Ungroup" items together for ease of relocation and orientation
    3. Option to allow for ALL collections to be placed and added towards the total item count instead of just two
    4. Increased Visitor Limit, say 10-12 players

    Just to name a few.

    The redguard style oven as a useable cooking station yes.

    Paintings of food or notable khajiit rather than the landscapes. Maybe a competition to design a painting yes?

    Placeable fishy puddles - given that we are technically outside a zone this one would be fine with them just providing a random assortment of normal fish.

    There is a wire cage available as a blueprint. It's called a "hunting trap" or somesuch. It just looks like a large, rectangular wire cage big enough for an animal to fit inside.

    Dyeable Furniture;

    1) Fabrics like seat cushions could be colored using any unlocked dyes at a station (only in your house!);

    2) Wood like table and chair legs could be stained using the hues of the natural lumber already found, like Ash, Maple, Hickory, even Nightwood and Ruby Ash;

    3) Metals could be painted using whatever unlocked dyes you have, or as is my preference, just like the Wood, using the natural metals found in Tamriel.

    Also, Screenshots taken by the player could be inserted into picture frames (large and small) for personal photos/paintings!

    Stairs (a few different choices would be nice), but one unit so we didn't have to make our own out of individual blocks.

    Pre-packed furniture. Much like the redguard bookcases, there should be options of any type of open furniture to build it pre-stocked so you don't have to waste twenty slots putting book rows and other decorations inside one bookcase to make it look ok. So every race's furniture style should have filled book case options and filled options for other small shelf units, counters, cubbards, etc.

    Same with some other setups - there could be merchant shops and wagons that are already filled with clutter to save build space. Instead of using the empty items already in game then another dozen or two slots to clutter it up, we would just have to use one build space item.

    Also pre-stacked warehouse items like we see in world where they have the pile of barrels that act as one item, or whole barrel racks already filled with barrels (the large racks, not just the small ones). Etc.

    Ideas like this would allow some build space expansion, in a way, without actually raising build space and should be easier to render as it would be one pre-packaged item instead of the item with twenty individual objects to create when you pop up.

    Small buildings - some of the larger homes have enough room to fit an extra outdoor building like a barn/stable/workshop. Some already have buildings like this, but others have the space, yet very little options outside.

    Ground that acts as ground - Had a friend build a fighting arena out of planks (looked cool, was overtop slaughter fish too) and found out that ground effects will not work on them as they go to the ground underneath. Would be nice to have the option to create some sort of flooring that would actually act as a solid piece of ground.

    Other in-game pieces - I've seen a variety of furniture around the game that isn't an option to use in a home and would be nice to see someday (in more than just the weekend vendor).

    Life - A bard that plays music. Some butterflies, bunnies, torch-bugs, etc to run around like we see in the wild. (The moth pets were nice to see, I use those to give the illusion of some wilderness life in my homes currently). Edit: also having our mounts actually idle correctly and not looked like creepy stuffed animals still trying to draw breath).

    Edit 2: stole this thought from FO4 - beast cages - not the empty ones, but actually beasts in various cages you can release in an arena type setting that many are creating to make people fight.

    Edit 3: Weapon/Armor racks - of course versions that we could actually use as containers to display weapons would be great, but also just workman type versions to put around crafting stations to make it look more like the work areas we see out in the world.

    Oh, and alchemy and mage equipment, too.

    I like this idea; a bear skin rug with a bear head on it or similar for wolf, sabre cat et all. Pelts for floor and walls etc..

    There is a bear skin rug in the game. It's a craftable purple item. But other animals would be good to see as well of course.

    Weapon racks like we had in homes in Skyrim are a MUST. They were awesome. I'd love mannequins as well, so long as they aren't the creepy ones from Skyrim. Those always looked like they'd come alive to kill you late at night. ... Which is pretty funny, because there was a bug that actually caused those mannequins to move around a room sometimes, adding to the creep factor. :#
