Pre-order Morrowind then linking account to Steam

Hello everyone,
As you may have noticed, I want to pre-order Morrowind Digital Collector's Edition right on the ESO Store and after a while I'm gonna buy ESO on Steam to link my account with Steam, but I need to be sure about some matters before I take the action.
First, can I create new ESO account within Steam purchase? If so, can I still link my current account to steam too?
And Will i still have Morrowind update on Steam after linked my current account?
I appreciate any answer, I've sent a ticket and asked ZOS support these questions but I didn't got related answers.
