6 my pets are animated but don't move.IrishGirlGamer wrote: »It's good, I like it, but honestly, it's not awesome. I'm looking forward to some serious additions such as:
1. Storage. I knew it wasn't included. Now that I have my house and I see what Zenimax is charging for furniture, this is actually a no-brainer. Since the game is designed with a slot system (as opposed to a weight system) then just give players a few slots in a cabinet or wardrobe. Ten slots in a small cabinet; 20 or so in a large.
And don't tell me most players have not maximized bank space. At this point, you're charging money for ... something that sits in the room and does nothing.
2. Food Containers. Speaking of things that sit in the room and do nothing, how is that food containers and baskets don't give a daily drop? I guess they can be abused - and so players who don't utilize housing would complain about it, but seriously, the answer is ... get a house! None of the baskets, crates, boxes are live - and they should be. I'm not talking motifs or blueprints; I talking about a damn apple or two.
3. Beds that I can sleep in. Maybe get a little buff (5% experience gain for being well rested or something).
4. Remember that outfit/costume system? Yes, please.
5. More cooking stations. Jeeze, that's a no-brainer, too. The only thing you offer is a fire pit ... I'd have to cook my meals in the yard.
6. And for the love of God, let's get rid of the taxidermy gallery. My motionless staring pets are ... creepy. Beyond creepy, it's something like this:
Let them move, walk around the room, do something! It's not that hard, people were doing this back in Oblivion.
Just some ideas.

Between this and the wealth of DLC that has come out over the last year and change, the game feels so much more complete than it did at launch. Between this and 1T, it feels like a living breathing world. Well done ZOS, you finally dragged me away from FFXIV for good.

Pets: Early pets (before Zenimax started adding more complex animations), don't do much. Some of the later pets (my friend has the cute little bear), will run animations but won't move. Maybe it's because I work in a museum, but it still has an "exhibit" feel to it.

Yeah, I notice that too. My little pre-order scuttler just sits there and makes a few noises. But my Thieves Guild jackal has several little animations where he chases his tail, barks, etc.
