Will there be Silt Striders in Morrowind?

So are we upset if it's wayshrines and not this?
Asking cause that means travel in and out of this expansion is limited

I want wayshrines. This was not suppose to turn into a how to travel thread. Travel can go to Oblivion for all I care. I would crawl around Vvardenfell on my knees just to hear that whale song again.

BRING BACK SILT STRIDERS AND THEIR MOURNFUL CALLS EVEN IF THEY DO NOT TRAVEL

It'll be analogous to Cyrodiil. Silt Striders will essentially be Transient Shrines, and there will be a way shrine that takes you to, and from the mainland. The main difference between Morrowind, and Cyrodiil however, will be that you can fast travel anywhere at any time; whether it be a wayshrine or Silt Strider. That's how I would do it.

    Cyrodil or Tamriel?

I'm thinking more in terms of PvE....I don't want to confuse anyone either as I'm thinking if in Tamriel and you travel to Morrowind the wayshrine "would work" but not if Morrowind only has stilt striders

So I'm hopeful that wayshrines will somehow find their way over there or some other magical aparatus.

i know, i know...i'm sounding like a broken chitin record; but it's sooo simple: we need hatchlings (pets), whelps ( mounts) and imagos ( wayshrines / or even better; the first group mounts! ) ^^

Judging from article it seems we will have Striders. It was most important part. No difference what will they do but they will be there.

Does that mean we can travel and admire the surroundings on the back of a Silt Strider? o.O That would be awesome!

Tamriel is the continent. Morrowind, and Cyrodiil are countries within that continent.

You also had the stones who sent you to dwemer ruins.
Main problem in Morrowind was that the system was pretty complex and you often needed to switch transport multiple times.
It also had huge areas with no transport.

Yeah, the Propylon Chambers. I didn't include those because I usually never found all the keys/books/whatever the things were called to use them. Plus the ruins were usually occupied by bandits and it was always a fight to get in or out.

To give it that Morrowind feel they should dispose of all Wayshrines and make these the methods of travel in Morrowind.

I heard it will be shrines for travel. Just like there won't be ash storms because the servers will crash from the load of players and storm particles.

What in the world is that supposed to be?

Also regarding all these new creatures, I hope ZOS adds an explanation for why they aren't in TES:III Morrowind.

Wayshrines you walk up and just use. The propylon chambers needed the key before you could use them. Walk up to one after fight through the enemies, and you went nowhere if you didn't have the key.

And I hope there will be both.

There are wayshrines already there. I've seen one in Balmora. As for Silt Striders I hope they can be boarded and we can travel around Morrowind on the back of them freely, well on a route at least, admiring the view.

Silt striders [basically a teleport since you didn't "see" anything between strider stations]

Boats [basically a teleport since you didn't "see" anything between docks]

Mark/Recall spells, rings, and potions [teleport]

    Divine Intervention scrolls [teleport]

No wayshrines other than those that were in the Morrowind original game, just Soltstriders to get us from place to place..

I sure hope the music is also there and the ambience as well as it can be but improved, im hoping for raspy Dunmer voices...

Morrowind still is the most played TES i ever had.

I wish we wake up in a ship caught in storm, woken by raspy voiced dunmer.. Then proceed to.. Oh the times <3
