Velocious Curse.. changed again?

Can you guys on the PC shed some light on what's going on with the this skill? The wording on the live patch notes is a tad confusing when compared to what was on the PTS. The way the live reads is that it procs at 6 sec and 8.5 seconds.. is this correct? or is it working like the PTS version?

Velocious Curse (Daedric Curse morph):
Renamed this morph to Haunting Curse.
This morph no longer shortens the duration of the curse to 3.5 seconds from 6 seconds; instead, it causes the curse to explode a second time after an additional 8.5 seconds.

And people said that the curse explodes at 3,5s and 12s. So the patch note regarding curse is just misleading and inaccurate.

Well maybe someone can use a target dummy and time it to find out what its really doing...

1st explosion blows up after 3,5 seconds and next one 8,5 sec after 1st one. Overall time is 12 seconds for 2 explosions in 3,5 and 12th second.

Doesnt that make the other morph even more useless?

Also, will the 2nd explosion trigger even if you use the skill again before the 12 seconds?

First off it allows for more button pushing (relevant to end game PvE really) so you can have a slight dps increase (proven in PTS)

Did they happen to make it more noticeable for when it goes off, you know for those of us on console who have no timers?

Egads it's fine as a pc sorc... not great but fine, does let me know where those cloaking nightblades are though definite bonus.

The changes for Haunting Curse are a definite upgrade. You get an extra explosion for free if you need it. I think it is good for longer, sustained battles where your resources are important and casting it a second time isn't practical. For the Sorc v DK matchup, this plus the beams not reflecting change certainly help our ability to square up with them.
