Patch Notes 2.7.5. - what happened to curse?

From the PTS patch notes 2.7.2.:
Haunting Curse (Deadric Curse morph): This morph continues to explode twice per cast, but now explodes once after 3.5 seconds and again after an additional 8.5 seconds.

So the first explosion occured after the first 3,5s.

But from the patch notes 2.7.5.:
This morph no longer shortens the duration of the curse to 3.5 seconds from 6 seconds; instead, it causes the curse to explode a second time after an additional 8.5 seconds.

So the first explosion will occur actually after 6s? Am I missing something?

No, it's the same as what we seen right now on PTS.

Note that they have to make a different natch pote for those who haven't been tracking the PTS changes as they come, so the wording is different.

    t0 - curse cast
    t3.5 - explosion 1
    t12 - explosion 2

Yes, I know, but from the wording of this patch note alone I understand that the first explosion will be after 6s after casting, and the second one after the next 8,5s (jointly 14,5s). Otherwise they should change this patch note a bit to avoid any misunderstanding.

    Velocious Curse (Daedric Curse morph):
Renamed this morph to Haunting Curse.
This morph no longer shortens the duration of the curse to 3.5 seconds from 6 seconds; instead, it causes the curse to explode a second time after an additional 8.5 seconds.

It does look like it's 6 secs and another one after 8.5 secs later. I hope I'm wrong though.

I think it's 6 secs and another one after 8.6 secs later. I hope I'm wrong though.

This is exactly how I understand this but I do hope that we are both wrong... since on the PTS the first explosion occurs after the first 3,5s.

The original time before the Curse would explode was 6 seconds. They are reducing it to 3.5 seconds. They are also adding a second explosion 8.5 seconds after the first one has gone off.

Edit: Just re-read the natches. Ignore my comment

@ZOS_GinaBruno Any info on this? Did curse change went back to what it was in the first pts patch notes? The thing no one was happy with? SERIOUSLY?
Magicka sorcerer from start until the end. Always. Through the good times and the bad, even now when its probably saddest PvE dps it has ever been.

    Developer Comment
The goal of this change is to simply the Sorcerer rotation, allowing a Sorcerer to free up some global cooldowns in order to use other abilities while keeping the burst potential for PvP at the same time.

    ...

I would understand 6 + 8.5 but then developper comment makes no sense...

    Also for elemental storm
    Elemental Storm:

Reduced the damage for this ability and its morphs by 5%.
Reduced the damage done by this ability and the Eye of the Storm morph by 10%. The damage from Elemental Rage remains unchanged.

    So ... ? How many % ?

    Both.

As for the curse misunderstanding, the final patch note is just a compilation of every other, and not a summary. Ele storm got a 15% nerf except for the static morph who only got a 5% nerf.
For curse, we just miss the old statement of "curse now proc at 6 and 12 second", because it's no more the case.

Well I just got done for the night on pc na. I did a little dueling after this patch. Curse seemed like 3.5 and 8. I bet I am totally wrong though. I wasn't really paying much attention to it. I did note though that since it goes on so long now that I feel it's hardly worth putting on front bar. May as well chuck it on the back bar.

Also. the flame clench bug is still there which causes people to lay around on the ground for like 20 seconds. Prettt halerious. They did fix it so it only occurs like 10% of the time but it's definitely still there.

They also fixed the glitch or exploit where some peole had two mundus without twice born but may have broken twice born in the process. People are complaining after religious the second mundus is gone.
