You could log onto the US server and see for yourself. I think that's how it works now. We can all switch between the two without having the game installed twice.

Nope, tried that. I keep being put through to the EU server no matter how many times I click NA please.

Glad I was going for that one anyways.

Guys, you'll most probably disagree, but I don't think houses should be in the crown store at all. And it they really have to be (because Zenimax wants your money) they should at least be a teeny-weeny-bit pricey. See those prices as an incentive to play the game for a house that fits your game income instead. Actually that should be fun. And if you don't enjoy playing the game - why do you want a house in it?

(And don't rant: I know that earning enough in-game money for the grand houses is a long-time effort in ESO. Achieving master crafter or earning a good Maelstroem weapon is a time-consuming effort, too, and you can't buy neither in the crown store.)

Who buys the Ebonheart Chateau 12000 (15000), 120€,160€ wtf !
    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

Hundings Palatial Hall is probably the most bang for the buck of all houses.

8100 for a furnitured large house that is basically a manor.

I would say this is the reason - they're making the Crown store furnished option look great vs buying an unfurnished option either through paying gold or Crowns.

Although unless you're broke in game gold buying smaller houses using gold still looks like the better option.

They really overpriced houses and furnishings in the Crown store, it's really quite nasty and abusive.
    Capitalism sucks, doesn't it?

Capitalism rocks. We have a wide range of videogames available to us because of capitalism - or would you rather we had propaganda-approved videogames only? Get real. I don't like the pricing on many things, but THAT Is how capitalism works. If I don't feel something is worth it, I don't pay for it. If enough people don't feel something is worth it, they have to adjust to the customer (I say customer because I think consumer is a dehumanizing word). If they fail to adjust, they adjust toward failure. So take a chill pill. I don't like the pricing on a number of their products either but I do enjoy the game, and I've actually got no problem paying for the Morrowind DLC. To be honest that is an upgrade to the game that I actually FEEL is WORTH the cost and therefore I am far more likely to give them my money for something like that. Yay Capitalism.

Getting the large houses or manors furnished with crowns is probably the best crown to gold ratio presented yet. They're expensive in crowns but the cost of buying + furnishing them with gold is also very high. I have the gold to buy multiple manors, but the crown prices are still tempting.

These prices are ridiculous. Most of these house are just molded copies from the actual game. Zenimax whats dog. Who is your marketing Rep. Let me at him

    @Foreverxghosty

Their marketing person is fairly sharp. All the interest in housing will generate a lot of sales at those prices.

It's also priced so there is a home in everyone's budget which is also smart.

Granted, everyone is entitled to disagree though I doubt the bonuses Zos pays out will be harmed by housing sales.

So, the difference between furnished and unfurnished, and the list price of the furniture, ala carte, means that either the Crown furniture is a lot cheaper, or the unfurnished price is a horrible deal, because they jacked it up to help make the furnished prices not look so bad.

Pwew, got all that into one sentence.

The thing I really don't like about buying anything furnished is they stick all those stupid crates, baskets and barrels in as well. It's not a thing anyone would want in an actual house and is just "filler" they've thrown in to make it seem like there's really more there than there is.

There's also another problem, as some houses come with things that cannot be removed. Like in Old Mistveil, if you get the furnished version, it will place banners on the walls that are permanently there. At least on the PTS...
